One plumber came and checked the problem. He then called the plumber who had worked for us before. He came over and in less then 30 minutes the washer was working again!

The visit went well they are kind and went to work immediately. They took al measures possible to ensure that they would not get the house dirty, which they made very obvious through the use of gloves and booties when they were upstairs. The clog was 150 feet into the pipe at an elbow and even though they broke 400 Dollars worth Of cable they kept trying to get the clog. They ended up braking the cable in the pipe due to the decreped condition of my pipes. At 1:30 am we called it a night for the next three days they heroically fought to retrieve the cable without digging in the lawn or driveway. On the third day they succeeded by going deep into the city sewer to retrieve the auger and saved my drive way, and me. I though the worst, as in my bill would be astronomical. Nope, the owner of this fairly large company called me personally and we worked out a price. He charged me for the original call only what a great end to a horrifying problem they fixed everything. They get an A.

This is an update from my previous post of 1 day ago. Depending on how they handled the problem I posted yesterday, this review could have gone either way....see what you think about it.
Hollister's finally got back to me yesterday afternoon with a quote for finishing the duct-work in an old house reno that they'd previously installed a $3800 A/C unit in and then left all the old duct work full of racoon and mouse nests that my general contractor found. If they hadn't overlooked to hook the ducting up to the new A/C, the whole house would have been spewed full of vermin feces, seriously contaminating the house.
They scheduled twice to come out and look at the ducting and give a quote, but didn't show up either time. When they didn't show up the second day in a row, I texted the owner saying that if they wanted to work for me ever again, they'd get the quote in to my general contractor by the end of they day. They then emailed me a quote,  without ever measuring or looking at the duct-work they hadn't reviewed in the first place.  The quote was for $3200 for about 150 feet of ducting. So with that and the new A/C this would have cost $7000. And no new furnace.
Since they didn't show up at either time or actually measure the ducting, or look to see what they'd overlooked the first time, I'm appalled at the unprofessional behavior. Plus they tell me they did everything correctly, no fault on their part. Plus, they gave me the excuse that they're over-whelmed with work right now, and have family health problems. So, as sad as I am that something sorrowful has beset them, that is not something a pro tells a customer. Nor is it an excuse for undone work.
Since they're overwhelmed at this time....I'm SURE they don't need any more of my work.
Previously, when my general contractor found a problem with a gas line they installed, they denigrated his work, saying that he wasn't a 'real contractor'. Well he found all their errors and corrected them.  Now who's the 'real professional"?
Response from Hollister Home Center

"We would like to extend our deepest apologies to our customer who was not satisfied with our service. Since 1944, we have expanded and are now doing Homeway Homes, Pella windows, Perma-liners, drain cleaning, Bio-Smart treatments, Natures Miracle filtration, basement de-watering systems, bathroom remodels, furniture sales, floor covering, new construction, snow plowing, excavating, heating, cooling, electrical, and plumbing all at one location on 4007 West Jackson St. Macomb, IL. We pride ourselves on our reputation and get a lot of our business from word-of-mouth recommendations from past and current customers. We take it very seriously when someone is not satisfied with us and we try to do everything in our power to make it right. In this situation, the original request by the customer was for us to quote a new air conditioner, a new furnace, and check the chimney over for a potential fireplace. We were not asked to do a whole house inspection or inspect any ductwork. We did unfortunately miss our appointments because of previous calls taking longer than expected and for that we are sorry. We try to get in as much work as possible each and every day but sometimes unexpected problems do arise causing our schedule to be altered. We try to perform as flawlessly as possible on every project we agree to. Hollister’s HVAC Manager had been in this house just this past summer and was very familiar with the layout of this house. We would have never ‘guessed’ on a price and hope that it was ok. We do not believe in ripping people off and on the flip side, as a company, we have to make a profit in order to keep our doors open. We have full confidence that the price we quoted for this ductwork was competitive and reasonable. All of Hollister Home Center’s employees and the owner take great pride in their work. We all believe that it is a direct reflection of not only Hollister as a company, but us as individuals. We want our business to grow and to strive in the future, and we know that the only way to do that is to be honest, ethical, and responsible to all of our customers no matter what the situation is. Thank you Hollister Home Center"

Great! They were here within the hour we called. We were shocked by the great price. Mike, our repair man, was extremely friendly, got right to work and got our heat working. We will definitely use them again and tell all our family and friends about them.

Old furnace was just out of warranty, and was too small for the added on space in our house.

Did a great job! One break was outside and they had to dig up the yard to get to the sewer line. Repaired with new section with clean outs. Removed all the tree roots in the rest of the line and made sure everything was okay. Had to jack hammer a hole in the basement floor to fix the other break. Had to use a t connection as there was another line running into the main. Fixed the sewer pipe and filled the hole with gravel and then topped off with concrete to repair the hole. Did a great job. Very pleased!
