Tim Fowler has been my go-to person for large appliance repair for many years. I find him honest, willing and able to explain the difficulties he finds, efficient, and reasonably priced.
Most recently I called him because the several-year-old electric oven in the house I had moved into was not heating up to temperature. He found the defective part and explained the implications of replacing that part, including the distinct possibility that, because of the age of the appliance, the repair might not last, necessitating my replacing the entire range.
Because the cost of the part was moderate, I chose to replace it. Tim ordered it and it came quickly, agreeing not to hold him responsible if it didn't permanently solve the problem, a solution which seemed reasonable to me given my past experience with him. Although I replaced the range eight months later, I was totally satisfied with the service that Fowler's Appliance Repair had provided.
At every point in the process I was made aware of the condition of the range and the parts involved, the options open to me, and the projected cost of the project.
