SETTIMI FETTERS ROOFING

The last time I contacted them would have been November 2011. In 2007, we had put a roof on our storage shed. They did a great job. We were really happy with them. Then our house needed a new roof. We couldn't afford the whole thing, so we had to do half. At that time, as far as my knowledge of roofing goes, they did a good job. Then we had to place a roof on my mother-in-law's house. There was a complete tear off and rework. That was fine, no problems. We had him come back and finish the rest of our house. It was fine, no problems. We have a rental house that started leaking last fall. Year before in 2009, we wanted them to work for that house and tell us whether or not it was due for a new roof or we could just do some patching on it as the weather was heavy and we had been waiting at that point in time. They never came up and looked at it. They kept promising they will come. They were working at a job half a block away and still didn't come over and look at it. We thought, okay, they are really busy. They do a lot of work out of state and stuff like that, so we will just give them a half as they have done good work in the past. Last year that rental house's roof started leaking in the fall. We called them again and wanted them to come up. They kept promising they will come up, but later in the year, I finally called them and asked if they were going to work at it or not. They replied they were really busy and they could not work at small jobs. I asked would it be better to get somebody else, they agreed. So we had work done by them. It sounds that lately the smaller residential jobs are not something they want to do anymore. Have they gotten too big for the Britons or overstated themselves, or what, I don't know. They have done good work for us and they have also ignored our request. So, it is needless to say I am looking for someone to do the roofing in the spring as I was caught up meddling with them. For the three roofs that they fixed, I spent around $12,000. It has been very frustrating that we had to wait this long and the roof is not yet fixed, that could have been done last fall.
