MENARD'S

We wanted to purchase 2 vanity tops with sinks. It took approx. an hour for the salesman to put the order in the computer and it came to over $1900.00. They then told me it was $79.00 for delivery. (extra to carry them upstairs to our bathrooms). Two days later we saw a commercial for a local place that was cheaper and the vanity tops were granite. We went there out of curiosity and the 2 vanity tops with sinks, delivery and installation was $800.00 cheaper than what we paid at Menards. I went back to Menards and asked to cancel the order. It had not been shipped to the store yet. They charged me $450.00 restocking fee. (I expected to be charged something considering it was my fault but not that much)! I won't step foot in that store again. I've done my shopping elsewhere (faucets, hoses, caulking, new mirrors etc...) and have spent a lot more than $450.00.  They should keep that in mind when they are taking advantage of people. There are other places to shop!!
