About us

“Inside and Out, Top to Bottom” It’s with these words that Loop Construction was born. It all started in 1970 when the Obrochta family started the well-respected Obrochta Construction Company (“Loops” predecessor). The base of construction was targeted to new residential and commercial in the downtown Chicago area. 10 years later fresh out of college with a degree in mechanical engineering Casey Obrochta joined the family business heading up the mechanical division and also was a licensed electrician. After many years of hard work and learning the business, Casey founded Loop Construction in 2003. Through the years Loop has continued to be one of the most well respected construction company’s in this area. Not only has Loop continued to excel in the area of New Residential and Commercial construction but the Restoration division through Homeowners and Insurance Companies has been growing leaps and bounds every year. Remodeling has and will always be a very integral part of our business as well will lead us into the future. We believe no job is too small! Loop Construction is located at 7845 43rd Street Lyons, Illinois.

They were wonderful! Met schedules, did high quality work, and went above and beyond. Examples: the day they started tiling, they realized we hadn’t bought the trim pieces we needed. Our contractor went to two stores across town to find the right tile. When they started painting the inside of our boys’ closets, they realized the existing walls were in bad shape. They put in tons of work sanding, filling and prepping the walls. When we realized the vanity top we’d received was broken, they had their guy out, salvaged the sinks, and cut us a beautiful marble top. They do all of their own work (except HVAC) and they have a lot of pride in what they do. I liked not having to worry about the quality of the subcontractors they would bring in or if someone would quit mid-work.

Fantastic! Casey and his crew got things done so quickly (no disappearing contractor issues like we've had in the past). So fair and honest - he's done work for lots of our neighbors as well and we all love the guy. who ever says that about a contractor?

Loop did an amazing job. Everything was out of plumb or level in this old house, which made many parts of the reno tricky. We now have a beautiful Guest Bath with a spa shower and floor-to ceiling tiles. The Master Suite is incredible. The bathroom has a steam shower with 9 showerheads/sprays, digital interface, soaking tub, exposed brick, floor-to-ceiling tiles. The complicated plumbing done in both bathrooms was well done. In the AV Room, sound proofing was installed in the floor/walls/ceiling and the tricky electrical work was done well, to specifications. We highly recommend Loop and would use them again.
