I have been using them for four years and I would not use anyone else.

I brought my car in for a brake inspection, they told me that I need new rotors in the rear with parts and labor it would be $842, I thought that was high so I decided not to get the work done. The got at the shop did not give me the written estimate of what need to be done he tossed it in the trash. My keys were already left in my car when I got there. I took my car to another shop that is on angies list and they told me the car needed the same work the difference was the price parts and labor was $247 Wow .

I found Tuffy's through personal referral. I have not as a rule trusted auto care centers and told this to the Owner, Jim when I first met him. I explained that I had driven away from other Auto service centers with critical issues (such as no lugs on all 4 tires) and other serious issues and had been burned.
I have used Tuffy's now for the last two years and have been so relieved not to worry about driving away in a dangerous car. The first visit they kept me from driving away in a car with an axle that could have gone at any time. Walking me through any needed work and taking me under the car and showing me the parts that are bad and or worn.
I too was offered the multi-check option, but opted for their Tuffy's credit card and purchased tires and batteries (installed) with no interest last year on two different vehicles. They took us home and offered to pick us up as well.
Now at over 100,000 miles I need ti replace the serpentine belt. There has been a need to work on the water pump that I had put off for a while. They were good to remind me of that, since they would be in that area when they do the belt, so I can save some labor charges doing both together.
I was grateful to have the option of using the no interest option on the credit card again and putting it all on the card at the same time and then doing the work it in two steps.They gave me a loaner for step one and will do the same for step two so that I don't have to be stranded or miss work to get this done.
I had a time frame on this Friday 4/5 of leaving to go out of town and had to clean the car before I left, so I was worried the car wouldn't be ready in time. Jim matched me up with a great mechanic, who kept me informed at every step and exceeded my expectations, by getting the work done before my deadline!! I have had three mechanics work on my car so far and I trust each one!! That is a first!!

we had taken my wifes car into tuffy not realizing that the entire brake system was shot. the sway bar needed fixing as well. when arrived they were nothing but professional. they explained everything in great detail. They gave me a ride home so I did not have to wait or find my own ride home. They called me approx 3 hours later with an estimate. was over 1000.00 dollars. My father in law was a mechanic and told me for the work being done this was a fair price. I told them to go ahead and fix it. When I arrived to pick up my car, they offered me a payment option to leave them with pre dated checks for the next 6 weeks which i thought was fantastic. I had never heard of a garage doing such a thing so I did.
My wife was paranoid yesterday and took the car back to be looked at thinking that she heard a noise in the rear brakes. They were so nice when they rechecked. Assured her was just dirt in the brakes and they were safe. She bought new wiper blades and they took 15.00 off which i thought was nice of them.
the lobby in which you wait has wifi a computer kids stuff a tv free drinks and snacks. very welcoming.
Everyone we have encountered at Tuffys has been nothing but nice and professional and we now have a place that we can take our car to people we trust to do a good job and not rip us off as we know in this professional can be more often than not.
