About us

History Temco Grinding, Inc. was founded in the mid 1950's in the Los Angeles California area by Thomas Mahoney. It specialized in centerless grinding manufactured parts for the fastener and aircraft industry. In 1983 Temco opened a plant in Rockford Illinois and has continually grown to become one of the largest centerless grinding firms in the area. In 1988 the decision was made to close the California facility and consolidate all operations in Rockford Illinois.

Services we offer

Temco Grinding Inc. completed certification for ISO 9001:2008. We are able to provide quotes for centerless grinding, thru-feed, and in-feed jobs. Temco Grinding is able to facilitate all your centerless grinding needs. Temco has a fully equipped tool room which includes milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, welding & brazing allowing us to produce almost all tooling in-house eliminating delays caused by outsourcing.
