POOL ONE

Description of Work: we hired pool one to put in an inground pool in our back yard. They were recommended by a sleazy contractor(who we didn't know was sleazy at the time). Anyway, after we had to fire the contractor, we were stuck with pool one as we had already paid a large deposit. They dug a hole for the pool, then left it over the winter, so it looked like a bomb had gone off in our yard for that entire winter. The following spring, they had one excuse after another why they couldn't come out to start work again. When they finally showed up, it took them all summer to get the liner and one filter set up- approx 4 months. One filter is still not connected, the automatic cover we ordered has not been delivered or installed. it's now November and we are in danger of damage without a cover. The pool installer Gino is a great salesman and great talker, but then wouldn't show up with his workers until 1 p.m. or later, (if at all) and that was a "productive" day. When they did finally show up, it was often for less than 1/2 hour of work. If they did stay longer, they took so many breaks, that very little got done. My neighbor finally started timing them as a joke and would ask how we put up with it. Our friends and family have all been flabbergasted at the length of time it's taken for so little work to be done.
