I went in to have two short (about 5 ft long) steel brake lines
replaced. These lines were in plain view and easy to replace maybe a
half hour to do. Instead they replaced ALL of the steel brake lines From
the master cylinder to each of the wheels to my surprise. The mechanic
said they (the lines) were hard to get at. All I wanted was the lines in
plain view replaced. and there was no call to inform me of the
additional work. POOR BUSINESS PRACTICE! I am a certified master
automobile mechanic but I just had surgery so I was unable to do this
myself. I took a look at the other lines prior to them working on the
car and the other lines were OK. L & M is close by where I live but
never again will I take anything over to them and I have told anyone
that would listen about how I feel
