The owners Dick and Gloria Stenlund falsely told me Gloria was the veterinarian and they performed the beak trim on my Macaw parrot. The beak trim took an unually long time in their inexperienced hands, when I asked them to stop because my parrot looked stressed out, Gloria said no he is not stressed and continued the trim. I believed she was a veterinarian and believed she knew best. A few seconds later my parrot died. Dick said he died of a heart attack, offered no apology or excuse. I told them I was going to get my boyfriend and be right back but when I returned a half hour later my parrot was buried in their trash can at the back of the store and my cage was already in the back of their pick up truck in the parking lot. I was shocked and devastated. I cried. They acted like nothing at all untoward had happened and still wanted my $20.00 payment.
