We paid an up-front charge of $3200 March 1. Work started about 4 weeks later. Were finally able to use the shower june 24 and paid most of the balance then, but a couple of days later one of the shower doors blew up and it took Dan another week or so to replace it.  Dan's a nice guy and the work was well done (over a course of nearly 4 months) but he doesn't respond much to calls and it takes forever to get the work done.  Must say the ceiling painting was sort of an amateur job, but otherwise all is well.  If you're in no hurry, Dahlberg Johnson would be a reasonable source.  If you want to have any kind of idea of when the work  will be done, you should get someone else.

Not well. The job took a year longer than expected, and cost 100,000 more than I requested.  Refused to pay bills to suppliers until his companies bonus was taken care of.  Delivered a damaged dishwasher which cost $300 to repair, delivered kitchen cabinets with scratches on them that he promised to fix on 6/13 and has yet to take care of.  Felt I was taken advantage of.
