The service men are friendly, honest and the environment is relaxing,. The customer service is excellent,
Danny Miethke did a poor job as a sales consultant on so many levels, including the fact he was not aware of the 0% interest rate on used cars, was not aware of what vehicles qualified for the promo, had little knowledge on any of the cars I was interested in and did not show any ambition to provide me with the info or research your stock for something else for me. Danny was lackluster in his performance and was obviously just looking to make a “quick-sale” at my expense and was frustrated when it didn’t happen.
We have a Toyota Highlander that developed a very loud rattle that seemed to be coming from the rear suspension. We even believed, and confirmed with others, that the culprit was the passenger side rear suspension. We decided this was a serious issue and took the car to Anderson’s for diagnosis and repair.
They had the car for a day and informed us that the noise was really from a loose heat shield over the muffler. Clearly the noise sounded much more substantial than a flimsy heat shield. No surprise to us when they replaced the heat shield and it did nothing to fix the rattle. Anderson Toyota still expected us to pay the full repair bill. It was a positive for them when, after negotiation, they agreed to payment for the part and not their labor.
We brought the car back a second time to the dealership, and I took one of their technicians for a ride to demonstrate the rattle. He stated he thought it was coming from the front of the car. He was the only person, of all those who we had ride in the
car to try to figure out what was going on, that felt the rattle was coming from the front. His suggestion was to replace the struts and also to perform a complete brake job on all four wheels. As evidenced by work of another repair shop, resolution of the problem did not require either of those procedures. They never did explain how they felt a brake job would fix a suspension rattle.
Needless to say we looked elsewhere for a repair shop and are happy to report we found one on Angie’s List with very high ratings and excellent reviews. The Highlander is once again a pleasure to drive.
"Thank you for the kind review! We appreciate your input and look forward to helping you in the future."
"Thank you for the kind words. It's always our pleasure to assist our customers with their service needs and to keep you on the road with no worries."
