Had to redo all of the ductwork that my contractor had done during a basement remodel. That contractor's work was so poor that under threat of legal recourse, he hired Markgraf to reduct everything. They were very professional, very thorough and righted a big wrong.

They had installed our air conditioning unit, that's why we had called them back. Our unit wasn't working, they needed to fix a small hole in one of the coils. I thought that they did a good job when they got here. Sometimes they can be a little slow getting out here but once they do come they handle the problem well.

They have done maintenance at our home at least twice a year.

The experiences went well---we have many different types of heating and ac units(from steam to water to electric) and they do a great job maintaining all of them.

We have used Markgraf often, so they are familiar with our layout. Dave was here about an hour, working on two furnaces in the basement and one in the attic. They set the humidity to 35% and checked all cycles. They always arrive promptly and they warranty their work.

When our existing furnace gave out on one of the coldest days of the year I called three companies for estimates to repair and/or replace what we had. Markgraf came recommended from a co-worker. All three recommended the same equipment and Markgraf was $2000 lower than the highest quote, $1000 less than the middle quote. Because they were recommended by someone we knew we happily took the least expensive route. The representative was helpful, knowledgeable and spent his time answering all of my questions. (I'm a tough customer because I work in the commercial building controls field and know more about how buildings are controlled). Because of the amount of snow on the ground, we agreed to do the furnace work immediately but hold off on the A/C work until spring. They were good about not charging me for the A/C work until it was completed. Both installations were scheduled and handled very professionally. Time estimates were good and all of the work was done and cleaned up appropriately. I'm very happy with this company.
