He gutted the old and found out all the plumbing had to go-which I supected. He tiled the floor, walls and tub area. His suggestions made the bathroom amazing-He put in two shelves in the shower area and made a tile rug for the floor-all his ideas and they are so beautiful! He installed the cabinet which had to be cut down and painted the room. He installed the whirlpool tub making sure that it was level on the the very unlevel floor. He added insulation to the walls which had none.
Michael also came up the brilliant idea of making the door a pocket door. We have the original doors throughout the house and this saved us from using a diffent door. It is gorgeous. He took a monstrosity and made it beautiful!
Everything in the bathroom is top notch!
Roger Tully of Tully Electric suggested we call Woodcut Remodeling for a bid. Since Roger had worked for us in the past and as we were very happy with his work?we had already decided to have him do the electrical work on the project?we gave Michael a call. Michael came to the house a day or so later and spent a couple of hours discussing the project with us. We were very impressed with his attitude towards the job. After comparing the written proposals and speaking with the principals with each company that we had called at least twice our first choice was Woodcut Remodeling and Michael Infanti. We liked all of the contractors who came out and submitted bids but it was clear to us that Michael was the man for the job.
Mike was 100% professional from day one. We wanted a contractor who would show up, on time, every day and work on our project full time. We were not disappointed. Mike was here every day; on time, and worked all day?sometimes well past 5 or 6pm. On days when he was picking up material he would let us know in advance. He cleaned up the work area each day before leaving and was very considerate and respectful of our home by draping off the work area each day to minimize dust. He has excellent communication skills and answered our questions readily and completely. Mike is very easy to get along with and he?s very open to suggestions and mid-project changes?and we had several of those. He has a very good eye and a sense of how things should look. He has an old-fashioned work ethic, something you don't see all that often these days. His first concern is making sure that his clients are satisfied. Without question MIke stands behind his work.
Bottom line?we will be hiring Mike again as we continue the remodeling of our home. Mike is a very talented and trustworthy man and we are completely satisfied with his work. You can?t do any better than Woodcut Remodeling and Michael Infanti.
