"When my carpet crew removed the old carpet and pad they noticed that some areas of concrete sub-floor of condo where the new carpet was to be installed was damaged and needed to be patched to insure proper installation of the new carpet and pad. Since the owner of the condo lives out of state and does not live in the vacant condo, she was unavailable to look at and assess the damage to the concrete. I tried to contact her about the problem and couldn't , so the crew went ahead & patched/repaired the damaged areas for a minimal charge of $40.00. Most of the cost was for the patching materials. The crew texted me a photo of the finished repair and I forwarded it to the owner ( you can see one of the areas they patched in the " review images" below) She said in her review that we damaged the concrete. This is totally untrue. This particular crew I sent has always acted in a professional manner without any history of incident. Any comments about their work was always positive, but In this case their decision to throw the old carpet & pad out the window seems it needed a bit more thought before proceeding with that method of getting the old carpet and pad out of the owner. The crew's explanation was that the hallways were newly decorated and they did not want to bring the debris through the hallways and lobby. I will not be using this crew in the future. The bottom line is that here was no damage to the building, it's occupants, & and during a follow up phone call to the owner, she told me no fines were issued for this incident by the condominium management. As you can see from my reviews this an isolated case. The owner has since paid her bill including the extra for the concrete repair. On a follow up call to the owner said she was understandably a bit uncomfortable with the process, but satisfied with the new carpet . Ken Wolski Western Linoleum & Carpet Co."
He arrived on time the day of installation and worked from 9 AM to 4:30 PM--without a lunch break, to get the job done. The flooring looks great! Ken is not only a talented craftsman, but a really nice and helpful guy too. He went out of his way with attention to detail to exceed my expectations!
The amount of service and craftsmanship for the price was excellent. I would HIGHLY recommend!
