Description of Work: My old 1970s Singer Sewing machine had a meltdown in the middle of a project and the hard rubbber feed dog disintegrated. We found The Sewing Room in Lombard IL on Angies List and it only had one report so we took a chance. We are very pleased that not only did the ladies who took our order understand sewing they knew the old model upon seeing it. The machine is now back in our home (almost took three weeks though due to a backlog of machines needing repair that we we observed -- this is a popular service!), and I am back at the treadlefoot. I woudl highly recommend these folks. If you appreciate having an older machine and it needs repai, then this place is great.
