Service Master Lombard

The Lombard location of Service Master is incredibly unprofessional. I called them because they have a reputation for being a premium provider of home restoration services after water damage. They scheduled me for service from 6-8pm on Saturday evening. At about 9pm, they called me and told me no one would be coming. They rescheduled me for 10am - Noon on Sunday. I asked them if the service person would definitely show up on Sunday. I was assured that the service man would be at my home promptly. They never showed up. I tried to call them 3 times to get a status update. I was routed to an answering service and never allowed to talk to the local company. I pleaded with them to give me some information or reschedule me with a different local provider. I never heard back from them. Do not do business with the Lombard Service Master location. They are completely unprofessional and simply cannot be trusted. Also, Service Master advertises that they provide services 24 x 7. This is a complete joke. They do not! If they shut down service at 9pm and resume the next day at 10am, that does not qualify for 24 hour service. If you actually need a 24 hour service provider, look elsewhere and find someone you can trust. Avoid the Lombard Service Master at all costs.
