Overall, we had a great experience working with Tom Wolfe. Out of four bids on our kitchen remodel, his came in the lowest and that was part of why we chose him, but we also got a good feeling about him when we met him and the references we spoke to were happy with his work. RSR has a regular crew of guys who do the majority of the remodeling and they outsource work like plumbing. Everyone who worked on our kitchen was great - they were punctual and they did a wonderful job cleaning up their mess each night during the remodeling process. Tom was responsive and flexible when we needed him to be. When we realized that we needed an engineer to look at what we found inside of a wall we initially wanted to knock down, Tom came back to our house in the evening for almost 3 hours to walk through things with an engineer who could only meet during that time. Tom was also always thinking about our budget based on the quote he gave us initially and called to discuss options when there was some reason we might go beyond that quote. There were a few surprises during the process because our house is so old and has been remodeling so many times, but still, we staying close to the original budget. Tom and his crew really cared about our happiness with the work and did a great job.
