National Energy Contractors did a wonderful job adding a portico over my front porch. It was difficult finding a contractor who wanted to do a small job like that. Peter, the owner, was very happy to do this kind of job and was able to fit it in between other larger jobs in the time frame he had originally given me. He was very willing to work with me to find a design that would keep the cost reasonable while still delivering a quality product. I highly recommend Peter and his company.

National Energy Contractors was everything that I wanted and more. The job was completed quickly and beautifully without any hiccups or interruptions! The women in the office did a great job of communicating and Peter was an excellent salesman. We are so happy with the new sunroom and windows on our house! I would highly recommend National Energy Contractors for their outstanding work on our new sunroom. After discovering their booth at the Naperville Rib Fest last year, we sought quotes from multiple companies. Although National Energy Contractors were not the cheapest option, they provided undeniable evidence of their exceptional craftsmanship. Dealing with contractors can be intimidating, as not all of them follow through on their promises. However, Peter Gatsch, the owner of Nat'l Energy, alleviated our concerns by sharing numerous favorable reviews from satisfied customers. Throughout the entire process, Peter maintained constant communication with us, starting from the moment we signed the contract. The project involved multiple stages, from securing permits to laying the foundation, building the room, and adding the final touches like siding. Each crew of workers demonstrated professionalism and pleasantness. Their work ethic displayed expertise in their respective specialties, and it was evident they were passionate about their craft. Although we encountered a few delays, the end result was well worth the wait. The sunroom is of the highest quality and solidly constructed. In hindsight, I would not have chosen a different builder, even if they had promised a quicker completion time. I am extremely satisfied with the final product, and I trust National Energy Contractors to deliver exceptional workmanship. In conclusion, National Energy Contractors surpassed our expectations by creating the most beautiful addition to our house. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to quality are unmatched. Absolutely amazing! We had National Energy install brand new bay windows and siding. The quality of the installation is nothing like I have ever seen. Everyone I had the privilege of speaking to was very professional and informative. Peter Gatsch, the owner, came out and answered every question we had before our installation date. Terrible, terrible customer service. Does not honor their "lifetime" warranties. Never returns phone calls. Been dealing with window issues for over four years with no satisfaction. Now patio door breaks and they can't do anything about that either regardless of their supposed "lifetime" warranty. Jennifer, who answers the phone, is rude and condescending, continually telling us that we "have not done everything we need to do to resolve this issue. What more should I have to do? And Peter, the owner, only returned our call after we made a complaint to the BBB telling us that the BBB “can’t make me do anything.” He made promise after promise to “make things right” and never did a thing to honor his warranties. Demands we sign a contract that he back-dated and never existed, and when we do not he refuses to follow through with promises. Shameful.

Working with Peter at National Energy Contractors for our backyard remodel was an excellent experience. Peter produced exactly what my vision was for the sunroom and patio, when others tried to talk me into their views. Every team that came to work (deck removal, concrete, sunroom, painting, electrical, handyman) were all professionals and did a perfect job. When it came down to our particular punch list of items, Peter made sure each and every one of them were completed and we were 100% satisfied with the job. We love our new sunroom and patio and will enjoy it for years to come. Brian

Horrible! I asked to have warped wood (2x8 section at the most) replaced and the roofing company owner (Pete) flipped out saying that is not what they do and didn't see the issue; if the village inspector didn't see an issue then what's the problem. I offered to pay for the additional wood but he would not do it. Once they job was complete he wanted me to allow him to come back and rip apart that section of my roof to replace the wood, I refused. Things really turned ugly. Pete, was unprofessional, condescending and rude.

The whole process went excellent. National Energy's president Peter Gatsch worked with us from the sales presentation to the completion of the room. We had many quotes. Not only did they have the best price, they took care of everything from architects plans, to regrading around the addition. Peter was always available when we had questions, the whole process was extraordinary! The service was the best we have ever had from a contractor. So was the follow-up and working through punch list. Anything extra that we thought of they were more than willing to accommodate us without charging us more. National Energy was beyond our expectations. The quality of the product and workmanship was extraordinary. We would recommend them in a heartbeat!

They put the windows in 12 years ago and we were very happy. We love the windows and we are very happy with them.They seemed very accommodating, when we had a crack in our window when it was very cold, and they came right out.  They were great on everything.

The project took much longer than expected, not due to National Energy, but due to the city inspectors who took 3 months to approve the permits, extra work on the addition that had structural issues that needed to be addressed, our vacation schedule, and the weather in November/December.
When the existing flat roof was pulled off, the supporting beams were found to be running sideways, not extending out from the original  house. That meant they needed to be removed and replaced, to provide support. National Energy incurred most of the extra cost, to replace the beams, replace the drywall ceiling in the home office below, and repaint the room. Ultimately, the home office looks the same or even better than before their work! The sunroom, which has its own heating/air conditioning unit, looks great, and is a welcome addition to our small house. 
Peter, the owner,  was very attentive throughout the process, starting with obtaining permits from our city and dealing with inspectors who visited several times. His crew was hard working and efficient, and we trusted them with keys to our house while we we out of town, so they could complete the project in our absence.  Overall, my husband and I are very happy with the project and plan to use our new sunroom extensively, once the harsh winter weather eases up. It's exactly what we wanted, a room with all windows overlooking our private back yard, which faces east.

Installed vent shoots and added insulation to R38 level then sealed the attic entrances with plywood so cold does not excape

They were very, very good. They did a very nice job. The crew was very polite and they were just very good. We couldn't have asked for a better group. Everybody that we saw was very professional.

Came in to give quote. Was very informative. Quote was over $2000 more than other quotes I had gotten.
When I told him was going with another roofer because of the huge difference in cost, Peter (president) matched that quote in order to earn my business. Roof and gutter looks great!

They were very good and I would highly recommend them.

They did an excellent job. Their prices were good. Their people are on time, very thorough and did a nice job. They were very competitive. They were very professional, extremely adaptable; I had to make some last minute change and they ride along with me. They were good. They cleaned up everything. They didn't overcharge and did all that in one day.

We've been dealing with the president, with him its fine. The last time I received a phone call from their office, the female was pushy. My part was to fill-out a paper work and get it to them and do photographs of the property and give it to them and she some kind of...I don't know. But dealing with the President he's very good and gave us a good deal I think. And it seem kind of confusing because I talked to her, and she's like I'll come out and take the photograph and let's get this going. And I received the call from someone else who said she's been out of the office for a while and she wondered whether we were going forward the deck or the room so obviously, she's out of the loop on that...she didn't know.

They were excellent. When they did the roof, I was out of state so I wasn't here to watch details but the end result was more than satisfactory. The pricing was good. They did show up for the estimate and they kept to the amount they said they were going to do it in instead of giving me bill for a thousand dollars more. They truly were excellent and I would recommend them highly. I ended up dealing with the president of the company and he has done work for some of my neighbors who recommended him to me to begin with, so it all came together pretty well. The price was very competitive, I had a couple of quotes that came in lower but they weren't ranked as highly on Angie's List and I had referrals from neighbors. I have been a homeowner for fifty years so I have run into people that quote low and don't do their job, so overall this was excellent. It has been only a year and so far, the roof looks good. The village inspector came out to look at it and he said he didn't see any difficulty so I am assuming it is good, but it is very early to be sure. They were out here for the installation instantly, when the weather conditions were favorable. They were very professional. Their cleanup was pretty good also.
