Les responded within a day to our request.  He set up a time to do the job and showed up.  Our two-story foyer turned out to be 18ft instead of 16ft as most foyers are.  So, he had to go back and return the next day with a longer ladder.  The old brass chandelier from removed and the new chandelier was hung up and balanced with utmost care.  We are very happy the job done.  

Les is very knowledgeable, but he will not give a fixed price for work. I did get him to give me a price for the microwave outlet at $150 and $50 each for the chandaleers. However, it took him all day to wire the microwave outlet....and he changed his tactic a couple of times. I had gotten similar estimates from other electricians, so I thought I was ok. However, since it took so long, when he was done, he grudgingly said he would honor the price he quoted, but that it had obviously taken a lot longer. So I asked what he thought was the correct price, and he said $250. I did pay him more when I didn't have to. However, I asked him to come back to do installation of ceiling electrical boxes in my 4 bedrooms. He again would not quote a price, saying he'd do the first one, then see. I am not comfortable with a time and materials approach when I am paying expert rates......I feel he should have the expertise to know how much a typical job like that should cost. I had gotten fixed estimates from other companies. So I cancelled having him do the second job. I understand that sometimes the unexpected happens when working on an older home....things like unexpected wood rot or wall board rot that make a job harder. At that point, I would expect a re-negotiation. However for a standard type job, I feel the pricing model he uses is inappropriate.

They were very helpful, good price and overall a great experience. I would recommend them in the future and will call them for my next electrical project.

Went very well, and was faster than expected. He estimated 1-2 hrs, and was done in 1 hr. Plus he had assistant who worked in the attic to speed things along.

He was excellent. He was extremely kind. He was knowledgeable. He was quick and responsive. He let us know by phone when he was coming. He did exactly what he said he was going to do. He was very reasonably priced. He cleaned up after himself.

Excellent!! Les is a smaller local service and always gives more than I expected. I have used Les for several other jobs and even got him hired to do work at our church.
