It was good. They were very professional. They did it quickly. I couldn't ask for a better job. The price was very reasonable.

We from my old address to my address at the same time they arrive 45 minutes later than I did they moved my furniture in I paid them snd they left I than started to clean opened my drawers and found they went threw everything all of my clothes and in a book in my dresser I had hidden $450.00 and they found it of they took it and they are in denial. So people if you are planning on moving this year do not use DIBBLE MOVERS.

I originally was quoted three guys, but a fourth showed up telling me it would go much faster. Turns out one of the four was very slow moving and spent most of his time in the truck smoking. I ended up with 3 pieces of damaged furniture. Dibble did pay for the repairs on two, but the quality of the repair is not the best. I don't think I would call them again due to the damage. I feel the long day caused them to get careless and some of them expressed their resentment towards the one slow guy who spent most of his time smoking.

They were a very courteous crew. I have no faults with them personnel-wise and working with them. They were very accommodating. They were very open to dealing with some unconventional situations, which was great. They were very accommodating with a pedestal on my washing machine and removing it since I couldn't use it in my new home. A couple of other moving companies that I spoke to were not as willing to work with me on those unconventional aspects of my move. This company was able to move the washing machine, but there were some mis-steps done with the move of the washer. There was some minor damage, which I don't think was there before, but because they were so accommodating,

Was a little concerned initially because several of the men were slight- of- built and the furniture was large and bulky and they were moving pieces into other rooms and into the garage. They did a good job. And the company worked really well with me in regards to the date for bringing back the furniture, which had changed due to special circumstances to December 3, 2014.  I am happy I purchased the additional insurance because some of the furniture was damaged.   Dribble had no problem honoring my claims and the insurance company they have, sent an exceptionally well-qualified repair person  The repairs are not noticeable.
All in all they made a stressful time less so.

Unprofessional and careless.  They do not stand behind their work.
We hired Dibble to do a local move, within DG.  We bought $4K in additional insurance to cover any potential damage and I pointed out two specific antique pieces to the movers and suggested that they take care.  Both pieces were damaged during the move (one significantly) and we had significant issues and expense trying to get resolution.
The movers destroyed a 100-year old family heirloom oak table, damaged an antique pine hutch, and broke a custom-framed picture.  When I contacted Dibble with an inventory of the damage, they said that they would contact their wood guy to handle the repairs.  Given the extent of the damage, the importance of the piece and the lack of care that they took with my stuff in the first place, I informed them that it was my preference to source the vendor that would handle the antique repairs, and respectfully asked that they cover the expense.  I put the work out for bid to a vendor I have used in the past, sent them the pictures attached, and received a quote for approximately $2k (depending on the level of damage).  At that point, Dibble said that the amount estimated to fix the table exceeded the deductible on their insurance, and that I would have to file an independent claim with a separate company.
Considering the fact that I paid for $4k in supplemental insurance, I was confused why I now had to file a separate claim with a separate company.  I respectfully asked Dibble to please take care of the damage that they caused to the property, and even offered to stay out of the process (they could negotiate directly with my vendor).  Randy said since it exceeded his deductible, that he has referred it to his insurance company, that they would be contacting me directly to handle the claim, and that he was now "out of the process."  Again, I expressed that my strong preference is to deal directly with them...since they broke the table...and to not have to deal with another third party.  He declined to assist.
After a long, protracted back-and-forth with the insurance company, where I had to schedule an estimator to come out, take days from work, field multiple phone calls and emails, they offered a check for $765 to fix the table.  Considering the only quote I had was for more than double that amount, I reached out to Dibble to, again, help resolve the issue and get the table repaired to our satisfaction.  Dibble refused to answer my calls and informed me via email that the insurance company would be handling it.  The insurance company sent a check and letter and said that they consider the manner closed.
At this point, I was forced to engage an attorney to help bring resolution to the issue.  I contacted two additional furniture restoration companies to validate my original quote and scheduled an on-site inspection by Dibble's own preferred vendor.  The lowest quote received was $1,100 by the preferred vendor (still well in excess of what was received by the insurance company).
After 3+ months of standing to eat our meals, countless phone calls and emails to attempt to resolve the issue with no success, we had the table fixed at our own expense.  We have been unsuccessful in attempting to collect the difference between the inadequate insurance settlement ($765) and the out-of-pocket expense to fix the table ($1,100).  Dibble has refused to answer calls or emails and has failed to respond to my attorney.
Buyers beware.
Separately,he team that Dibble sent to handle the move was extremely loud and crude.  They were frequently vulgar, sometimes in front of my young children, smoking and throwing their butts in my landscaping by my front door. Before any of the above issues with the table transpired, I would not have been able to recommend them based on their level of service.

We used Dibble Moving and Storage for the Chicago portion of our move from Tampa, Florida.  Our move-in was reasonably complicated because we had two semi-trailers dropped at my wife?s mother?s house in Woodridge, where most of our furniture and boxes were put in basement storage, one bedroom?s furniture moved in to the main level and some items put in the garage.  The remaining furniture, including one bedroom, family room, laundry room, garage items and a number of boxes were moved to another residence in Downers Grove.

The crew of five guys arrived on time, got right to work and were very efficient.  The -2 degree weather and several inches of snow on the ground didn?t faze these guys at all. They were very polite and good natured. Due to the multiple locations it was pretty complicated; items were going in every direction. They transferred stuff as needed from the semi-trailers to their own moving trucks.

Once the crew arrived at the final residence, they first covered the carpet and hard wood floors and went right to work unloading their trucks.  They took great care with our furniture and household items, some oversized and some very heavy.  This is a split level home, so there were four levels to put our things and the stairs were tight.  When our refrigerator would not fit down the basement stairs, they quickly removed the doors, moved it downstairs and reinstalled the doors.

They actually finished the 6 hour move in 5 ½ hours, saving us some money.  We had a small issue with a few items being put in storage instead of the residence, so I brought it to the attention of Randy Dibble, who rectified the issue immediately and to our full satisfaction.  We used Dibble Moving and Storage for part of our out-of-state move 4 years ago and we will be using them again for our next move.

The movers were polite, courteous, and careful with our things.  They forgot to pack one (large) chair that we found during the final walk-through but they got it on the truck with some last minute rearranging.  They worked hard for the entire time they were with us.  I was very pleased with how things went.

7 men came to the house. One was in charge and was to do the inventory. He had difficulty with counting and writing down the items on the inventory sheet. Our move was small by comparison, but the cost of gas from Chicago to Orlando added up. Delivery went well except for incorrect inventory. None of our items were missing or broken.

Dibble Moving was very responsive and flexible with their scheduling; certainly more so than a competitor.  Their price was comparable and even a little cheaper.  The movers worked very hard and had a great attitude.  We had several pieces that were quite challenging to move.  However, after they left, I noticed scattered items that had minor to moderate damage:  caster wheels were missing or broken; a bed frame had some missing pieces; there were scuff marks on various pieces of furniture.

The company was very responsive from the get-go, in setting up the consultation, scheduling, and rescheduling.  Movers were on-time, prompt, and friendly.  They were being paid hourly, and worked very hard during that time.  They were moving quickly and very fast/efficient.  They also did a great job wrapping and protecting our furniture.  We had nothing damaged in the move.  The men were friendly and professional.  We were very happy with our move and would highly recommend Dibble!

The packing seemed to go well and they were timely and quick and careful to move everything. . The storage of our items seemed to go smoothly too. However on the day we were moving into our new home, there was a verbal altercation between the truck driver and the movers, which resulted in yelling and swearing in the driveway of our new home and the movers leaving the house to get away from the truck driver. I called to report the unprofessionalism, and I honestly do not know if thatmade any difference. We certainly were not offered a discount for having their employee swearing in the driveway of our new home in front of neighbors. That was embarrasing for us. Nor did anyone bother to follow up with us. Also my husband and I noticed several broken items and a scratch on our dining room table. The items are covered, but we chose not to report the damage. The one saving grace of this experience is that the movers were very nice and polite to us. I would not recommemd them to anyone because of the bad experience we had. I believe they could have turned the situation around hadthey followed up with us or offered a discount.

After my superb experience with Dibble last month, I hired Dibble again. They arrived right on time, thoroughly wrapped all the furniture and moved efficiently, four guys, finished in 4 hours! After my Dad's items are moved into his new house on February 5th, I will write another review. I would suggest that if you are moving your entire household, as my Dad did, have Randy come out and assess the situation so you can get a more accurate quote. It only works in your favor. Return and Very Satisfied Customer, Lisa

My Dad's move was a great success. Our family has experienced two separate moves with Dibble now. And we are very pleased. Thanks again, Dibble for your outstanding services.

Kind regards,

Lisa

The three men were on time, professional and courteous. They had material to lay on the hardwood floors and carpeting because it had just snowed. They worked very well together, never sat down to take a break for 4.5 hours. I called four movers before choosing Dibble. I made my final decision after speaking with Michelle who took my call and confirmed my move. She spent such quality time with me on the phone and reassured me they would take good care of my furniture. Couple things i want to mention is -- be specific -- do not underestimate the amount of furniture, boxes, lamps, mirrors, etc. that you are moving. If it takes the movers more time than what is estimated, chances are you did not disclose everything you have. Thanks Dibble for all your hard work! Kind Regards, Lisa

Good guys. Polite, professional, but noticably fatigued and slowed down towards end of mission. Owner should consider shift work, this would keep it going.
