I feel I need to update my review from last year as shortly after the work was done some of the sod did not take and some of the bushes died. After several emails and calls the owner was rude and told me I should be contacting Manny and his crew because they need to correct their mistakes. We did get Manny to come out and see the problems after a very long time and agreed he would wait until next year to come back and correct all the problems at once. We were told to contact him in February which we did and were told they would be starting their work soon. Contacted him in April and again in May and nothing but broken promises. We feel we need to warn you. A lot of the work they did was good but when you have dead spots of sod and dead bushes, and you wait and wait to have it corrected then the we can not say the job was well done.

They do a pretty good job but use large stand on machine. It must be hard to maneuver as several of my plants have been squashed:(

It took longer then we were told to start but when Manny and his crew came out and started working they did a fantastic job. They came and worked long hours. They made sure we were happy with the project and were very professional and listened and did what we wanted. We would highly recommended them. Manny was very helpful with giving us ideas and suggestions.

Both projects were fantastic! They worked with us during design to incorporate our ideas with their expert opinion on what would look good, be sustainable, and provide us with years of enjoyment. The crew was professional and able to make small adjustments to the plan to make it even better than we could have imagined.

It went better than we could have ever dreamed! We had a vision and they came in with a design that fit our space perfectly and everything from the beginning through to the end went smoothly and exactly as promised. They actually went above and beyond the scope of the work. Mike communicated with us throughout the entire project. Mike and his crew worked tirelessly to get the job done. We still can't believe how amazing it turned out and are anxious for summer so that we can get out and enjoy it again this year! They are the nicest people we've ever worked with, extremely trustworthy, and very passionate about their work. I would highly recommend them! We are so grateful we were able to work with them.

Overall he did a pretty nice job, except he planted a blue spruce that died and did not come remove it. I requested that he mail me a bill rather than email me a bill and he would not do it.

I strong advise not to work with this company. They were initially hired to place 2 pipes in my front lawn underground that controlled the sump pump water discharge so that it minimized the amount of water in my front lawn. This was completed last August and I had no issues last summer, however, this spring, the issue re-surfaced. 1) The work that was done violated the village code that I live in, which was to keep the sump pump at least 20 feet from the sidewalk. When I requested for Mike to fix this issue, he disregarded my voicemails, text messages and did not respond. Once I was able to get a hold of him, he lied about his guys coming to do the work, which they never showed up. Again, I called Mike and sent text messages and he did not respond. I will NEVER use this company for any work nor recommend them. I found them to be incredibly unprofessional, self interested and inexperienced. In the end, it resulted in me having to pay an excessive amount of money to fix an issue that they created and did not take responsibility or ownership to correct! Just awful!

SO WE [Member Information Removed] UNDERGROUND PIPE, AND RAN IT TO THE FRONT YARD, WE ALSO BROUGHT IN 5 [Member Information Removed] OF TOPSOIL AND BUILT UP ALONG THE SIDE OF THE HOUSE. WE HAD TO [Member Information Removed] FIT HIS FENCE AS WELL, BECAUSE OF THE GRADE CHANGE. HOMEOWNER WAS TOTALY SATISFIED AND PAID HIS BILL. NOTICE THIS WAS DONE IN AUGUST. SO NEXT SPING I GET A CALL SAYING HE HAS TO MUCH WATER IN THE FRONT YARD DISCHARGING FROM PIPE WE [Member Information Removed]. I TOLD HIM THAT WE NEED TO CHECK WITH VILLAGE AND SEE IF THEY WANT A [Member Information Removed] WELL [Member Information Removed] OR COULD WE TIE INTO SEWAR [Member Information Removed]. THE VILLAGE CAME OUT AND SAID THAT THE WATER WAS EJECTING TO CLOSE TO SIDE WALK, WE PUT IT WITHIN 15 FT (CODE IN OTHER TOWNS), THEY REQUIRE IT AT 20 FT. WE WERE OUT NEXT DAY AND BUMBED IT BACK TO 20 FT. HOWEVER THE VILLAGE SAID THAT A [Member Information Removed] WELL [Member Information Removed] NEEDED TO BE [Member Information Removed] TO FIX WATER PROBLEM. [Member Information Removed] WANTED ME TO DO THAT FOR FREE$$. I TOLD HIM THE $1200 HE PAID WAS TO BRING WATER FROM HOUSE FOUNDATION AND BUILD UP/[Member Information Removed] FIT FENCE. HE THAN SAID HE WOULD [Member Information Removed] SOMEONE ELSE DO IT AND DIDNT WANT TO WORK WITH ME. HE ASSURED ME THAT IT WAS OVER AND HE WAS MOVING ON. I SAID OK! HE PAID $4000.00 TO [Member Information Removed] 2 [Member Information Removed] WELLS [Member Information Removed], AND HE WANTED ME TO DO IT FOR FREE, THEN HE GIVES ME AN F RATING ON MY PAGE AND SENDS ME A LETTER TRYING TO SUE ME. I CALLED HIM AND EXPLAINED HOW WRONG THIS IS AND AFTER LISTENING, HE AGREED. WE DROPPED MATTER AT THAT TIME. THESE PEOPLE TRIED TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ME, AND I WOULDNT ALLOW IT. Quality was excellent! My lawn is among the best in the neighborhood now! And they always respond promptly to questions and disputes. I had to remind them about the Angie's List discount, had one dispute about unnecessary charge for leaf clean up (no meaningful trees in my yard) that they promptly fixed. To their credit...they promptly fixed these issues
Only complaint is that they need to improve back-office operations....maybe checkout Quickbooks Online....there was at least one billing cycle that they did not send a bill, had to be reminded about Angie's List discount, etc.

Multiple trips and phone calls to get status, and get them to complete the work. Remiders of what was still needed to be done, and still, overseeding and fertilizer which I asked for, was never done.

I was very happy with the quality and price of the service, and plan on using them again next year.
We have a small front yard, with a larger size back yard (about 100+ ft x 50 ft). The outside edges of the backyard have mulched beds, with flowers, bushes, and various plants. Bella-Liam provided services from early April through mid November.
Bella-Liam provided weekly grass cutting, trimming, and edging for $25 a week. During the hot months of summer, when grass is sometimes brown and not growing much, service would be skipped for a week, so you did not have to pay for that week. The owner did discuss this with us while providing the initial quote, so it was not a surprise. I'm glad he did, because grass cutting during those times is not needed.
We also had monthly weed spraying and pulling provided for $20 a month. The weeding included the front and back yard; the lawn, flower beds and brick patio and stairs.
The crew (2-3 guys) arrived every Thursday morning around 9:00 -12:00 and were generally done within 20 minutes. The yard always looked great, and they cleaned up after themselves. The head of the crew was very nice, and if I had any questions or concerns, he always addressed them.
At the beginning of Fall (mid November) we also had a yard wide clean-up. The price was $200 for 2 hours, with a crew of 3 men. The clean-up included leaf removal, trimming of dead vegetation within the mulched beds, and bush and branch trimming. I did an initial walk through with the crew leader describing what needed to be done, and he walked me through the yard when they were finished. I was very impressed, it looked like a completely new yard.
I would definitely recommend Bella-Liam, we had a very positive experience.

Mike and crew were hired next door to perform a whole yard overhaul, they did an excellent job so I had him quote us for some pretty extensive demo/removal of overgrowth bushes etc and resod half my yard. I was very pleased with the work, the people and most importantly the pricing, which was well below anyone else. I plan to use them again for several more projects

My wife found them.The do all different types of work. We have been using them for about a month and a half. My wife has had a very good experience. It's a small company owned by two guys. The price was very reasonable. We had a place do it last year for more. We are just very happy with the service. We have called them about things and the guys have been right on top of it. The landscapers will come and talk to you. Their price is very reasonable compared to others.
