Needing a trigger job for my Springfield XD .45, I spoke with the gunsmith, Glenn Promisco at Article II. He took the time to listen to my issue, examined my .45 and explained Springfield's triggers lacked the quality you would expect.

He then asked me how I intended to use my .45 (target shooting, home defense, CC, etc.). After answering him, he suggested a couple of trigger manufacturers with a cautionary note on the different kit models, explaining some were designed for competition shooting, while others were for normal shooting or home defense.

After purchasing a Springer Precision, I contacted Glenn and made arrangements for him to install the new components while I waited. 1 1/2 hours later, he handed me my .45. The trigger job was AWESOME!

I followed him to the range where he set a blank piece of paper out at appx 20 ft, and fired 10 rounds at normal speed. The work was flawless. He then rapid fired another 10 rounds to demonstrate how the cycle was much shorter.

A few days later I shot 40 rounds through its paces, firing slow and rapid fire. It was like shooting a custom made gun. Crisp 4lb pull, reduced cycling time and faster acquisition time.

Glenn is a master of his art. He is straight up and honest with you. He'll discuss with you at length the modifications you're looking, the impact those modifications will make, and will caution you if he feels the request is not a good idea. If he feels the request will jeopardize the safety of the gun or it's owner, he will decline the work.

He charges a fair price, does quality work, and has fast turnaround. No more waiting 4 to 6 weeks for something Glenn does while you wait. THANKS GLENN!!! OUTSTANDING work!

They are knowledgeable and have a wide selection to choose from. They also have a lot of range booths, so there is usually no wait to get into the range.
