He was very thorough and considerate about keeping us informed about what was happening and what he was doing.

Davis overall work was very good. but he did not adhere to his signed contract. The contract was signed in May of 2010, as of Oct. 5,2010 the work paid for has not been completed. Jim Davis said he wanted more money $12,00.00 more. He said he would not finish the work unless we paid him the $12,000.00 more than the $62,000.00 that was already paid for. He would not give us receipts for materials. He left multiple things unfinished. The fireplace he installed he took the instruction manual and the grates, tile floor not installed, windows and escape window not installed, all trim work not installed, 6 doors not installed, landry room did not have washe/dryer installed/hook-up and a hole hit into the wall, bathroom grout not finished along with the tile/flooring, no toilet or vanity/sink installed or fixtures, ballisters not installed, repair to the roof from the stack being removed, repairs to house walls r/t construction. Acomplaint has been filed with the BBB.
