I have an older home which had aluminum siding and I wanted to update it to Vinyl. I've also been wanting to add on a front porch to my house, the front of the house looked so bare and I thought a porch would add some desperately needed curb appeal. I called Jamie for a quote and he came out to measure the house the following day. I asked him about adding on the front porch and he gave me a lot of ideas on what could be done. I told him I needed to buy the materials and pay for labor separately and he said that was fine, and after I decided to hire him he emailed me a detailed materials list so I could go to the store and get what was needed. He showed up with his crew on the first day at 7:30am, and they got right to work. They removed all of the old aluminum siding, fixed some spots underneath that had been rotting (again, this is an old house) and then re-sided the whole place. They built a 27'x8' front porch that turned out beautifully... all of the neighbors stopped by to tell me how great it looks. Jamie designed the porch himself and was very flexible if I wanted to make any changes. I also had them add in a new window to my second floor and clean out the gutters and put gutter screens in. At the end of every day, the crew cleaned up the yard and made sure everything was put away and things that were staying outside were covered from the rain. Whenever I asked Jamie how they were going to do something, he would explain to me in detail how it was done and why they were going to do it that way. I had hired him 2 years prior to this project to do my roof, and they did a fantastic job there as well. For about a month after the roof was complate, every time it would rain or snow, Jamie would call to make sure everything was good and there were no leaks... they did the roof in the middle of December and not one shingle has moved even in the worst storms. And we've had a few great storms since then. I would highly recommend Jamie (James Brown) and his crew. They've done a great job on my house, I have no complaints.
