Description of Work: Fronted for a mortgage that was sold twice within 2 months. That tends to be the norm now but I thought their fees were a little high and the rate was not the best on the street for someone with a high credit rating. Overall just average. I did what they needed and got through closing with just minor hassles. I did not think they put anything above an average effort into this.

Description of Work: Leo and Kailey went above and beyond to get a mortgage worked out for me. They both worked outside of normal business hours, and were always available to answer my questions no matter how big or small. They were professional, but not to the point where I felt like a number.

 + -1 moreDavid is very good at this, but was often unavailable. He owns a lot of rental real estate and that seemed to take him out of the office. Sometimes, this created some extra stress for us, since we had a tight transaction.
Description of Work: David Bernat was our mortgage broker. He found us a loan and dealt with a very challenging negotiation with a reluctant seller. We got a great rate.

 + -1 moreI have to admit that we are tough customers. We like to move into our new house before closing on the old one, just to have an unhurried move. Jerry has to get a little creative with financing, and he hasn't failed us yet. He kept us informed of rate moves while we were searching for a new home, without being pushy. He is also very friendly, easy to contact, and calls you back promptly if you leave a message.
Description of Work: We have used Jerry Maglone for several of our mortgages over the years, and we have never had any problems or surprises. He has recently called us to refinance our loan for free because the rates have gone down since our last closing.
