Glenn and his crew did a great job updating my bathroom. Completed tub to shower conversion with tile, new flooring, vanity, exhaust fan and paint. Glenn strives to satisfy using excellent communication and attention to detail. He’s reliable and easy to work with.

This went extremely well - better than anticipated. Our house is older with work done by prior homeowners, so it's never clear what might be encountered behind the walls. Glenn and his very skilled crew delivered a quality remodel while problem solving all along the way. Bottom line, our bathroom now looks and functions far better than we even hoped for. We're absolutely delighted with our new bathroom.

Both of these projects went extremely well – TQI did the work in a timely, efficient manner with limited disruption to our daily routines and we are delighted with the end results. From the beginning, Glenn, TQI’s owner, listened to our concerns and expectations and detailed those concerns in the contract. We were comfortable we were on the same page. He was considerate when it came to expense, discussing options regarding cost and design decisions throughout the process. Glenn, and his fellow craftsmen, Mark and Nick, did a great job working with an existing DIY deck substructure. Their problem-solving skills were put to the test; the end result is a deck with excellent substructure support and a great solution to an unwieldly entrance to the deck and staircase. Glenn and his team took the time to think carefully about each step of the construction before proceeding. They alerted us to their arrival time every morning and every evening, the yard was clean and left in order for our evening use. Last, and definitely not least, Glenn and his team enjoy their work. They bring enthusiasm and fun to the day. We’d thought that contractors working at our home had to be stressful and disruptive, but we learned otherwise with TQI.

Glenn and his crew did a fantastic job. The work was top-notch, but beyond that, the customer service aspects were not lost on TQI. Glenn really focuses on getting the little things right (communication, punctuality, friendliness). All in the name of providing great customer service. We will definitely be using TQI again on future projects.

Throughout all the projects, both Glenn and Mark maintained a positive attitude and a strong ability to solve problems encountered during the course of the work. It turns out that our interior door frames are not completely uniform and didn't necessarily match the new doors. Glenn was fully prepared to trim and make other adjustments on site until he could provide a good fit for every door. He also answered my many questions and provided updates along the way. I will definitely keep him in mind for future projects.

Glenn Handley did an excellent job of installing the doors, trim and baseboards. The trim is perfectly matched at joints and doors are perfectly aligned. He is a master carpenter. Glenn takes pride in his work and is easy to work with. He tried to minimize the stress of having the house in disarray and brought in extra men to assure that he completed the job in the timeframe he had quoted.

First 3 items were done quite quickly and very well done. Light switch move was more complicated. Glen called in an electrician to help complete this task. Glen stayed close to his estimate, and added time for the electrical work, since it was quite complicated. I knew we might run into an unusual situation when the electrical work was started.

Glenn and his team at TQI guided me through the entire project, from suggestions on the types of materials, to mocking up the light fixtures so I was sure they were placed where I wanted them before final drywall was in. Glenn is meticulous with the details, drawing out the tile pattern on the shower walls so I could see how it would look before he installed a single tile. Glenn brings tremendous creativity, a desire to partner with the customer and a commitment to quality. He and his team are also friendly and fun to work with. I will hire TQI again!

Great. Glen did a great job and the porch looks so much better. We had to schedule this work around a driveway replacement, and Glen was very flexible. Communication was great. We will be using Glen again for some indoor work this winter and again in the spring for two other decks.

Very well. Glenn and Mark did a great job working with us on each project, develop ideas to address each challenge, were very professional, and kept the house very clean throughout the time we worked together.

He is a super nice guy. Very honest and personable. He is also genuinely interested in providing value for your dollars. For example, one of the closet doors fell off after three months of fixing, i called him. He apologized and fixed it without any fuss and charge. Only down side of Glenn is, his availability. Because of his quality and good service i think people book him all the time. If you have any project, don't wait until last minute, just call him in advance and you will be covered.

Glenn was able to come out to our house on short notice (following a sewage backup and demolition of 4 rooms) to give us a quote before the holidays.  He spent maybe90 minutes looking at the hosue and got us a quote the next day.  I believe his price was reasonable and he came recommended from 3 references.  He said he'd get he job done in 2 weeks and he kept to that promise.  He was extremely communicative throughout the process, responding promptly by email and/or voicemail.  He also was patient with us during the process as we made a couple changes that made his job more difficult.  He was willing to shop/pick up supplies as needed and he and his crew did the best they could to keep the mess to a minimum.  His workmanship, attention to detail, and quality appear to be very good as well.  For a lousy situation we had, TQI did the work well on a tight time frame over the holidays to get us back into our home.

Glenn did a great job! He provided an estimate and stayed the same day to complete the work. He was prompt and professional, but I also found it easy to make comments and ask questions as he worked. I was especially concerned about the extent of the damage where the wood had rotted. Glenn diagnosed the cause of the rot as incorrect installation of the flashing at that corner. He installed new flashing correctly before replacing the trim, so that the drainage problem will not happen again. From start to finish, Glenn did an excellent job. Communication via email and phone was quick and easy. He showed up right on time for the estimate and the cost was very reasonable. The quality of the work is excellent and cleanup was very thorough. I will definitely consider working with Top Quality Improvers, Inc. in the future.

Great.  Communication was tops.  I had multiple issues with my main deck having rotted deck boards.  We identified the bad boards and changed them.  I have a second deck that was converted from a hot tub.  we talked about future strategies.  Follow up was great.  They were on time and have the skills to handle this job and more complex jobs like bath remodels.

Glenn was a great person to work with.  He was very prompt and on top of everything.  We loved everything he did and he even touched up on extra coats of paint on our other door and bar for no extra charge.  We will for sure hire him again in the future and high recommend him to anyone.

We called Glenn because we needed to get a bedroom re-done unexpectedly and quickly.  Our son-in-law, a Marine pilot was killed, and our daughter was coming home with her baby daughter to stay with us for awhile.  We needed a room for the baby.  While I was out in California with our daughter, Glenn came over and took care of everything in record time.  By the time we got home, the room was complete, and it was beautiful.  He was compassionate and professional. 
Because we have a long-standing relationship with Glenn, we trusted him completely to be in and out of our home.  At a time like that, it was such a relief to have someone we had experience with to do this work.

Top Quality Improvers and Glenn Handley, the owner, have done many jobs on our home in Naperville. Everything from roof repair, drywall repair, painting and bathroom remodeling. Every job is done with exceptional care and expertise. Glenn holds himself and his professional crew to the highest standards, and the job is not complete until you, the homeowner, are 100% satisfied. When our interior stairwell wall (the one that is the height of our entire two story house), showed signs of buckling, the thought of someone cutting into our wall was very scary. The first and only person I thought to call and did call was Glenn. He did an excellent job on the repair, painting the walls and hallway as well. He has replaced the gutters over our front porch and garage, recommending over-sized gutters and correcting the pitch. I wish that the company that had installed the gutters five years prior had at least gotten the pitch correct. The previous company's errors in these gutters caused them to overflow, causing damage to our newly laid asphalt. Luckily, Glenn corrected the pitch to prevent this problem in the future. At the moment, Glenn is also remodeling our downstairs bathroom, and hopefully will be replacing our roof in the near future. Price wise Glenn is very reasonable as well, in the middle range, but his attention to detail makes everything more than worth it. They are doing roofing work and they are tiling the new roof. I appreciate that they were interested in getting to the cause of the damage and taking care of that as well.

25 years ago I needed to expand my living space in my Glen
Ellyn home by finishing my basement and adding a bedroom to meet my growing
family’s needs.  I contracted with Top

different plans and expanded our view of what was possible.  After we engaged Top Quality Improvers, Glenn

10 years later, we were in a new home.  It overlooked a beautiful wooded area and
needed to be upgraded.  Glenn remodeled
all the bathrooms and knocked out an exterior wall and installed a large
picture window.  It provided us with a
fantastic view.  When we sold the house,
Glenn’s work significantly enhanced its value.
Since then we’ve moved back to Glen Ellyn and have engaged
Glenn to paint our home and to add fencing. 
Again he did a creative job on time and within budget.  I’ve recommended Top Quality Improvers to
