They did a very good job.

This team was awesome .They arrived promptly at 7am were polite and immediately brought in equipment &  began prepping covering with plastic removing items from walls etc. answered my questions gave me time frames and we were good to go Took roughly 5 hrs. I  and my little girl ( who is a kitten) left the house on the 2nd I returned in the morning of the 3rd for obvious reasons  I was kept informed of the progress a couple of times in the day. They had me come for a quick look see to see if I was satisfied This team did a beautiful job and would indeed recommend them. GREAT WORK GUYS

Modern Quality Flooring was excellent to work with. They were very professional starting with the estimate through the completion of the project. Danny was very responsive in answering phone calls and in showing up when scheduled. The quality of the work was excellent.

From the first contact to the end of the job it was a wonderful experience.  Danny was so clear and helpful--really knows his business .Ricardo and Luis did beautiful work and were hard working.  Getting help with the furniture was a real plus..  We were hoping the floors were beautiful, but the job Modern Quality did far exceeded our expectations.   The floors look exquisite!  We would highly recommend Modern Quality without reservation.

Daniel and two other staff members of MODERN QUALITY FLOORING CO came very early (~7:00 AM) in the morning and have done the work in roughly 5 hours.The service was provided in a very professional way, which covered even the Pantry in the Kitchen and Closet in the Hallway. After finishing sanding the whole area, two coating has been applied with Satin surface on top. I was very happy to see that the old floor looked like a brand new one with beautiful bright color on the hardwood. This is part of the work in my Kitchen remodeling project this year and MODERN QUALITY FLOORING CO has done a great job with good quality on it (and a very reasonable price as well :-)). I would be happy to recommend them to any of my friend who may need similar type of service in the future.

I bought the Big Deal for refinishing my hardwood floor from Danny with Modern Quality Flooring. He contacted me right away after purchasing the deal. It took a little while to get a date set up for the service because of the busy spring break time of the year, but Danny worked with me to come up with a time that worked for us both. He and his crew showed up on time, which I really appreciated. It's almost rare these days for a service to show up on time. They did an absolutely great job. They put up plastic around the room to prevent dust from escaping to other rooms. There was not a speck of dust anywhere when they finished the job. And the floor looked fantastic. We had some deep grooves in the floor from moving heavy furniture, but these were all sanded out and you would never have known they had been there. They finished the job on time, in fact a bit early, which allowed me to meet other commitments. Overall, this was one of the best experiences I've had with a service company and I highly recommend them.

It went very well - living out of our basement for a few days wasn't too bad. Danny, the owner, is very easy to work with and makes every effort to please his customers. He helped work out the logistics of working on one half of our house at a time to minimize the movement of our furniture and eliminate the need to rent a storage unit. He checked back with us after providing the estimate to make sure we got the best deal on Angie's List. He confirmed the start date and time and reviewed the plan for what would be done on both days of work. It required a lot of furniture moving, so Danny even had his crew assist with that to get the job done faster. Louis and Ricardo were prompt, neat and efficient. This is the second time we've worked with Danny, the first being the only other time we've had our floors stripped and refinished 13 years ago. I'm happy to say that we will continue to recommend Modern Quality Flooring to our friends and neighbors.

Fantastic! Danny and his team completely refinished our hardwood flooring just we before we moved in. He provided helpful recommendations on stain color and types of finishes. The work was completed on time, with high quality and at a reasonable cost. He even recently came back to touch up some cosmetic scratches we encountered during our kitchen remodel. Would highly recommend!

We should have gone with Modern Quality Flooring from the beginning but found a "great deal" with an up and coming flooring guy. BIG MISTAKE.  We called Modern Quality back to have them try to come and fix the botched job.  They came in, were very professional, tsk tsked the job that was performed, and got to work making it all better.  My husband and I were so relieved that they were able to fix our floors.  They were patient, took the time to show us our color options (we decided to go with a different color than what we originally thought we wanted), but once we chose the color, they were super quick.  Did a wonderful job, our floors look great now.  We couldn't be happier.  We brought out 4 companies for estimates...Modern Quality was the 2nd most reasonable price (next to the the price the botched guys gave us).  We have a condo to update and will be looking to them for the floors.

After I bought my house in late 2011, I hired MQF to install/refinish hardwood floors.  I was so pleased with both the results (which have since drawn lots of  compliments) and the ease  of working with Danny on the floors project that I began working with him and his crew on many other things, ranging from installing new ceiling fans to rehauling my master bathroom.  His quote to repaint the interior of the house was substantially less expensive than other quotes I received, and including a larger scope of work.  As it turned out, I worked with Danny over a period of months and he was always on time, courteous and responsive.   I grew to trust his opinion and never once felt like he was trying to up sell or over sell me on anything.
