We have never worked with such an unprofessional moving company. Here are the major issues that arose when using Done Right: 1. Several major household items were broken and/or severely damaged. These include a large dining room buffet, two dining chairs, a living room chair and a large side table. We filled out paperwork for the broken buffet and dining chairs with the foreman for our move, and were then surprised to discover the missing parts of the chair and side table hidden after the moving crew left. We were told they would be contacted about the broken items. We weren't. After three weeks, we contacted them and they have still not gotten back to us except to tell us not to fix anything so that they could look at it again, if needed - it's now been nearly two months and nothing else has happened.
2. Low level of professionalism on the part of the movers. Hiding the broken items, as noted above, is one example of this. In addition, the crew boxed six rolls of tape, which we were charged for. The crew also did not use packing paper for packaging any of our dishes and we lost many items because of this. They also often did not pack rooms together, as you might expect, which has substantially increased the amount of time it has taken for us to unpack (we are still in the process of unpacking, in fact). Most boxes contain a random assortment of items from different bedrooms, the living room and dining room. The only rooms that were packed together, the bathrooms, were not done in a sanitary way. All of our toiletries, for example, were packed with a used plunger and our toothbrushes were actually placed INSIDE the plunger.
3. Dishonest billing. Upon arriving at the condo we were moving out of, the foreman told us that an additional mover would be needed to expedite our move. This mover arrived an hour later, but we have been charged for four movers for the duration of our move and the move took two hours longer than what we were told to expect. The foreman had us settle the bill at 3:15 and at this point all of the movers were out in the van. We were surprised that, after settling the bill, the movers immediately left, since the bill indicated that they would work until 4.
4. Unresponsiveness. The company has done nothing to address the issues raised above!
