Vinson & Sill Inc

We bought a repo house and had multiple plumbing issues to address. Since we were new to the area, it was very difficult to find a plumber licensed in Illinois to do this work without being an established customer. Vinson & Sell were willing to come and did an excellent job addressing our concerns at a fair price. After our tenant moved in, the sewer backed up through the basement toilet on a Thursday night. Called Vinson & Sill on Friday morning and receptionist said they were very busy, but would try and get there that day. Our only disappointment with them was they weren't able to come until the following Wednesday. They got the clog removed in short order and were courteous to call and inform us what they found and that the problem was corrected. Thanks to Nathan & Austin.

Incompetent, period. And they don't follow instructions. They put in a replacement sewer line and joined the new line to the old, unused pipes instead of capping them as I asked. When there was a blockage months later, the sewage started percolating up from the old pipes - just like some stanky-a** poltergeist. Let's just say the smell was WORSE than you could have imagined, what sewer-ologists refer to as "Grease". BTW: I've spent around $5000 with them, they have made no effort to make good on their mess.

The employee, Nick was very professional, courteous and prompt.  The owner, Mark Sill, was very irresponsible and unprofessional.

While working on the stove, the guy put a ding in to the top of our new stove, and left glue all over the stove without cleaning it up. They turned in work that they didnt do to their supervisor. Now, the supervisor has to come out to the house to do the work that his employee didnt do to begin with. They are not very professional in their work. They didnt put the right kind of pipe in, nor spigot. So, had a pipe that cracked, and when we went to use it this spring, it leaked water all over the basement. So far, we are not impressed with their method of getting the job done right the first time.
