Unique indoor Comfort Inc has been the provider for my HVAC for 14 years. They have always been highly professional and honest. They do not over sell. I know I can trust their word because they have done minor inexpensive repairs along the way. They have been able to trouble shoot issues that another company could not solve. They are easy to work with and trustworthy. They have kept my 3 AC/3 Furnaces units going. There are two original units which are over 25 years old and still working! If you want the job done right, go with Indoor.

Repairs were made and AC works, but the process to do so was unbelievable.

When I called to inquire, the woman on the phone said she could send someone out for a free quote. I CLARIFIED on the phone that this free quote would actually be free and would not cost anything to me. She confirmed this. At the time of my scheduled appointment, a technician arrived at my house with a bunch of equipment stating that he was here to do a inspection and cleaning. I stopped him and clarified that I was told that someone would be coming to give a FREE ESTIMATE. He said that there was no such thing as this, and went on to explain the cost of a service call, plus the cleaning, etc. I did not agree to pay for this, so he called his supervisor to see what to do. The technician was very friendly and professional and offered to take a look at our furnace since he was already here. So in the end, I actually was able to get a free quote and a partial (not in-depth) inspection as well as get a lot of my questions answered. I was happy with the professionalism of the technician as well as how well everything turned out, but not with the misleading communication I initially had with the company. I am not sure I will trust this company in the future.

They are a trustworthy and customer oriented company with top notch employees. Our service technician, Robbie, is very knowledgeable and personable. He takes time to answer my questions and concerns. The scheduling lady is also courteous and they have always been prompt. I recommend this company for your a/c and heating needs.

Cleaned, and made sure all was working. Since I am writing this the following spring, I believe they replaced a part on one furnace. They all worked well all winter.

Great. Long overdue review from Winter 2016 install. Dan from Unique and his installer team did an outstanding job. They installed a Unico A/C system and warm air humidifier in our ~1924 house in Evanston, including first floor (living room, kitchen, dining, hall), second floor (4 beds and one bath) and attic playroom (no need for it in basement, was cool even before the AC install). It works great, even in the attic which was the hottest room in the house (before install) and we have said many times how happy we are to have the system. Yes, it was expensive, but Unique was competitive with other bids and it makes a world of difference. His team took special care to solve challenges and place ducts in the best places possible. There was virtually no mess (much cleaner than I expected). Our neighbor did the same install a month later with a different supplier and I can tell you, after getting the tour, Unique did a much better job. Dan was patient and took time to explore options, answer questions and make several visits for planning before we signed. Dan's team also came back out to improve the drain pipe outside the house (basically, ran a bit more PVC to a nearby drain) happily and without hesitation (and was a much better solution that I was going to try on my own). One tip, listen to Dan's guidance. I pushed and decided to include a ~$2500 warm air humidifier. He recommended another style (forget the name) that would have probably been better and far less expensive, but my mind was made up - I hate static. While the warm air humidifier works as planned (and we have far less/almost no static in the house in the winter), it may be a bit too much for the space (though it does crank out the humidity). Price below includes the humidifier.

It was free. It was part of the service agreement. They actually call me, sometimes I have to call them. They called me, and arrived earlier than they actually schedule. They went through a very thorough check of the furnace. Checked everything out. Everything was fine, and there was no charge, because it was a part of my service agreement.

I think it was under warranty. I didn?t have to pay anything out of pocket. I have referred them many times.

Unique has the best service of any home related items I have ever experienced. The technicians just keep getting better. Robbie, a recent hire, is exceptional. Besides being friendly and invested in his work, his dedication and commitment are incredible. He checked, inspected and addressed additional items that have not been asked about, questioned or supported in years (decades)! I appreciate Unique, have them for business as well and am grateful that Robbie K. joined the team!

Robbie was our service provider and he was fantastic..pleasant, patient, nicely dressed, friendly, early for the appointment( hurray) and was very thorough. He fully checked out all of the equipment and he gave us directions to maintain our filters and our Aprilaire unit. We highly recommend both Unique Indoor Comfort of Libertyville IL and their technician, Robbie. Ask for him!

Great. Did work on tome about gavr me ideas  om maintenance.

The technician arrived on time.  I don't have his name but he's provided service for us on multiple occasions and he's very professional and courteous.  He takes care to put protective shoe covers on his work boots to prevent tracking any dirt inside the home and he keeps his work area clean.  The technician is knowledgeable and even goes out of his way to explain what he's doing if you ask (which I do).  He has also offered helpful tips to make sure I'm using and maintaining the system properly to allow for maximum performance.  I've used this company for approximately 3 years now since I've owned this home.  The previous owners had employed them as well (their company sticker was on the furnace).  I chose to hire Unique Indoor Comfort to continue maintenance on my HVAC system and I'm glad I have.  I would recommend them.

Very through. Knowledgeable technician. I asked him for advice on other things not covered under my service agreement and he gave me honest and sound advice. This is typical of all of the technicians who have done work for me. They really care about the relationship with their customers and they really know what they are doing.

Brian came over and was very professional and went the extra mile to give my wife heating and cooling tips.  He also fixed/adjusted our utility closet doors in about 30 seconds.  I had been messing around with those doors for years and could not get it just right.  He was very friendly and we were very happy with their service.  Over the past 10 years we have used UNIQUE about 4 times for our HVAC maintenance and every time we are 100% happy.  Thank you!!
