Apparently our shower pan is a non-standard thickness (too thick) and a standard replacement drain was too short for the threads to catch on the nut below the pan. We were unable to find an extra-long drain and it took PJF Plumbing a while to figure out a solution with available hardware. As it turned out, the originally proposed solution only lasted a month or so before the leak came back. At that point, I called back to PJF Plumbing, and Patrick, the owner, was quick to come out to inspect the situation and propose a different approach to solving the problem. He came out again a few days later and quickly implemented a fix that I believe will permanently solve our problem, and at no additional cost to us. Through all of this, Patrick was courteous, responsive, and helpful. I give Patrick and PJF Plumbing five stars for standing by their work and making sure they did a professional job and that I was happy with the result. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Second call for this vendor meant for us at 2p. We called about the Angie's List coupon after the job was completed but the vendor did not call us back. My husband did like the plumber that came.

Came on time, had parts with him in anticipation of problem, was knowledgeable and price was fair.

I cannot speak highly enough about this company. Patrick was great about talking me through options during the estimate, he was honest & realistic about what could be done and what wasn't worth it, and he was willing to work on what was immediate and give me plans for how to deal with redoing bathrooms in the next year and other longer term projects. Paul came to do most of the work, and he was fantastic. Patient about explaining things, also giving honest assessments of what needed to be done, etc. He was with us for about 5 days, and he cleaned everything up after himself (including after cleaning the sump pit, which was disgusting). A lot of the estimate was on a time/materials basis once they got in to see what the situation was, but I was pleasantly surprised at the final price. It was very reasonable, and I know I would have paid a lot more with other companies just based on other estimates I received. I think the most telling thing is that the other contractors who came through commented on the great work. When I had the new gas dryer installed after plumbing work was done, the installer who said he was a plumber by trade, said "wow, whoever did your plumbing work did a great job!" The one challenge was that it took a while to get the estimate and bill back, but I don't fault that as it's clear they are responding promptly to clients because Patrick was able to shift the schedule around to get the work started when I needed. Understandable why they are in demand with such great work at a reasonable price!

Patrick repaired 2 leaking exterior faucets on a house we had recently bought. We wanted them fixed before winter's deep freeze. He was prompt and professional, and even called to let me know when he was on his way. Highly recommended.

Patrick was very responsive throughout the process.  Work was performed on three different occasions.  He recommended replacing the Kohler toilet which used $158 worth of water in six weeks, even though no one was living there yet!  The Kohler part would have cost nearly$300, so it made sense to replace it with a new, higher toilet, yet at a reasonable cost.

Patrick if very professional, competent and fair. I highly recommend him.   He is now my go to plumber!

It is fine now.  Patrick has done several repairs for us, and we have never had a problem with his responsiveness, pricing, or availability. He even once walked me through a problem, and it ended up that I could fix it myself.  I appreciated his helpfulness and willingness to save me money.

He was able to come diagnose the problem and fix it efficiently.  I have a Navien tankless water heater and he went to their school for their brand.  He was very good to me.  The price was very reasonable.  I did incur a $100.00 trip charge but he traveled 75 miles away.

I had him come back to do the gas line, but not the sump pump.  They were supposed to come Monday, but he was really good about rescheduling and communicating with me and keeping it flexible about time because he know I was getting my appliances today.  I thought the price was fair, it wasn't the cheapest but by far not the most expensive.  He did a nice job.
