I've been going to them for years. Most of the time, I would say that I feel that they did a good job and I thought the prices were high but didn't really have time to find a mechanic. I'm so busy. But, the last time I took the car there, they didn't do things properly. They did the brake jobs on both axles on four wheels. Apparently, they didn't fasten the tires or wheels on properly. I hadn't looked at like a day before I left on a trip. I didn't realize that the tires are like that, and I went quite a distance. Once I got to a destination, I did another short trip in the town and it was like something was knocking against the wheel or something. So, I ended up taking it to another dealership of north and they said that the wheels weren't fastened and one of them was really bad. In fact, it was so bad that it steered off of tune. I was taking my car to them for so many years, it was fine. I'd say overall "B" just because I had years and years and years of good service, although there is this one thing, although this one is pretty major. The pricing is too high. I would probably not use them again because of this last incident.

I take my car to the dealership where we bought the car. Liberty Auto City in Libertyville. I took my car there about a month ago. I spent around $150.00. It was pleasant, I waited for the car and they were prompt. They have serviced the car from the beginning, and although some of the prices are a bit higher at independent garages, they know what they are doing, they know what they are looking at and know how to take care of it. That's why I prefer to go to them.

I've never had a problem there. I was in and out within half an hour. They are very customer service oriented and when I call, I talk to people and not machines. The service department is very helpful. They don't push repairs that I don't need. If they do see something, they tell me how long I can live with it before I really might have to do something about it. They are good and they always work with me. They have always done excellent work. I always use them.

When I decided to purchase a 2010 Subaru Forester, negotiations were easy as they quoted me the invoice price that was confirmed with the information on the Internet. My research using Edmunds.com had indicated that the invoice price was the selling price. It took longer to process the paperwork in the business office then I expected, but they didn't try to pressure me into buying the service contract or anything else.

They have been pretty good! I have had to go back a couple of times to get things fixed. They do get things done in a timely manner, but I have been looking for alternatives.

They have done other work on this car as well. They are fine and they do all my maintenance on the car. They also did fine with the brakes. They are also very thorough. It is always such a headache though because they have two different departments. One is for foreign cars and the other is for other types of cars. I think I always go to the wrong place. I did not know if it is just me or what. They are very nice though and they do great work.

The car is running like a dream now. They are very friendly there. However, I always have to make an appointment when I need to go. I like that I am able to get a loaner car there.

I WAS LOOKING FOR A NEW SUBARU WRX. I DID A LOT OF RESEARCH ON THE NET IN ORDER TO GET THE BEST PRICE IN CHICAGOLAND FOR THE MODEL I WANTED. FOUND BOB YANCA AT LIBERTY AUTO CITY TO BE THE LOWEST PRICE, AND ALSO HONEST, STRAIGHTFORWARD, AND WILLING TO GO THE EXTRA MILE FOR HIS CUSTOMERS. HE PICKED UP MY WRX AND BROUGHT IT TO HIS DEALERSHIP, THEN PICKED ME UP AT MY HOME IN CHICAGO AND DROVE ME BACK TO DO THE DEAL. GREAT GUY AND GREAT EXPERIENCE.
