Had a new shower enclosure installed in February, 2013. Several months later, I noticed 2 of the tiles below the shower door had cracks. The cracks got worse over time. It was clear that the cracks were caused by the shower door installation. I called Denise at Lake County and she told me to take it up with my tile person. When I told her the tile was the same as before the installation of the shower enclosude she had her husband, Gordon call me. He proceeded to tell me that it was my problem. After more discussion, he told me to have it fixed and to send him the bill. I had the tile fixed for just over $100 and sent the paid bill to Lake County Glass. Denise then called to tell me she received my invoice which as she stated "didn't appear to be paid" I had the HandyMan Service send me a "PAID" invoice which I sent the following day. That was August 27.

Since then I have heard nothing from either Denise or Gordon, nor any acknowledgement of the receipt of my paid invoice.

When I decided to choose Lake County Glass as my shower enclosue provider, I thought their price was reasonable and they were very pleasant to deal with. When I needed them to stand behind their installation, they failed.

Gordon Fischer and his wife, who run the business, are very sweet people and so pleasant to work with. The shower is a large walk-in with a complicated tile surround, and the door was a custom job with specialty glass. Gordon and his installers did a great job with the design and installation. He pointed me to a website where I could choose what kind of door pulls and towel bars I wanted. About a month after the installation, I noticed the waterproof seal underneath the door (which is quite heavy) had worked itself loose, and Gordon sent someone out right away to repair it at no charge. He also had the installer re-do all the waterproofing strips and the door is even more watertight now. Gordon also customized a switch/outlet cover made of mirrored material that sits atop a glass side of a mirrored cabinet so that it fit properly with the electrical installation. This was a very tricky fix and it looks great now. He'd done work for me in the past, installing some custom escape windows in my basement, and I was happy to work with him again.

They were very responsive. The salesman arrived on time for consolation. He was very nice, answered all my questions and provided an estimate within an hour. The price was really reasonable. They arrived on time for the scheduled date of work and got the job done quickly. They discarded the old windows and cleaned up well after they were finished.

They were timely and very professional. The enclosure turned out great. Would definitley use them again.

We gave them the measurements and they got a piece of glass for us that is a perfect replacement. I was impressed that they were able to fit it so precisely with just the measurements we gave them. We didn't have any problems. It looks exactly the same. They were very professional. They knew what they needed. I would say to definitely go there. We will use them again.
