We then used him for another house we were looking to purchase. Since we had used him 30 days earlier, he discounted the price. He spent 3 hours at the property and walked me through the entire house. He not only pointed issues out, but made sure I knew how things in the house operated.
Over all exeprience was great.. We ended up purchasing this house.f
1) Generator to the house hadn't been run for two years, battery was dead.
2) The gas meter to the house wasn't close to large enough for the appliances that were in the house. We had to have ComEd come out to adjust and install a new meter.
3) Wine fridge was not working and keeping proper temperature. We had to get this repaired.
4) Steam shower was not operating properly.
5) The house has dual stage furnances but was wired and thermostats for only single stage units. The wiring and thermostats were teh wrong units.
6) There was a crack in on of the garage door springs. (In fairness, not sure someone would have noticed this). But we had to get all new springs.
7) Zoning for the Heating and Air was not working properly. The actuator for the basement zone was not working.
