GLASS SHOP

Called them at 8AM asking for help with fixing windshield crack as I was leaving town. Got me in at 1PM and on my way within 45 minutes. Couldn't have been more professional or personable. I'd go to them in a heartbeat.

It went perfectly.  I called and made an appointment for first thing the next day.  They replaced the glass while I waited, about 45 min.  Great local business.

Windshield got hit on the interstate by a large pebble on Sunday. The next morning, I researched providers and called The Glass Shop- They had me come in at 11 that very morning and, 15 minutes and $65 later, I was on my way. Completely satisfied, I will utlize their services again, if needed.

The job went great! They perfectly replaced the rubber seal around the front windshield within a couple of hours. Thank you!

I had a cracked windshield that needed replacement, and I originally contacted my insurance company so they would have one of the "franchise" AutoGlass companies do the repair on-site at my work. My insurance agent suggested that I try The Glass Shop instead, and I am SO glad that I did. Jerry at the Glass Shop was great to work with and did top-notch work. I went in on a Saturday morning and he had me in&out in an hour. I highly recommend Jerry at "The Glass Shop" for all your AutoGlass repair!

The crack in my windshield had reached about 1/4 across.  Insurance said my deductible would mean I had to pay for it myself.  Insurance agent gave me a few suggestions of companies to replace the windshield, and estimated it could cost $350-500.  So I checked Angie's List for a close-by place.  Called The Glass Shop and they said they could do it for $200.  And they made an appointment for first thing the next morning.  They were very prompt, efficient, and windshield looks great.

i called on Friday afternoon and got an early Saturday morning appointment.  Things got delayed about half an hour, due to heavy snowfall, which required time consuming drying of cars.  But the actual process was fast and I was quickly on the road.  The glass looks great, and so far there have been no problems with it (although i have yet to drive through a car wash!)

Called and talked to Jerry about needing my windshield replaced because it was cracked due to a huge rock. He quoted me $270 for the windshield replacement over the phone if I wanted to go to the shop or $300 if they were to come to me. I decided to just drive to the shop in Libertyville since it isn't far from where I live. I called about 3p on Tuesday and the windshield was fixed before noon the next day. Small father-son business in downtown Libertyville, residential area. Jerry told me it would take 30-45 minutes. I arrived on time and they were done in 30 min. Very quick professional service. While I was waiting in the office Anthony Buick called needing them to replace the windshield on a new Enclave at their dealership. Apparently this is the place the dealers in the area use. Prices are reasonable and service is fast - same day service available. If you go to the dealer though you will pay almost double because they are the middle man and charge about $300 to make the phone call to the glass shop. Highly recommend just going straight to the source. Very easy to work with.

I called late Friday, made an appointment for early Saturday morning.  I arrived on time, they installed the windshield, and I was on my home in about a half an hour.  They had set my expectation for 45 minutes, so I was pleased to be done early.  The company is a small, locally owned one, with amazingly polite and professional people running it.  

Great people to do business with! I called, told them what I needed, they got me in on a Saturday morning. I was in and out quickly and the work was flawless. They couldn't be nicer and great to chat with while waiting. The price was very fair and I would go back to them without question.

I called first to discuss the work with them and then I called my insurance company - who got them back on the line to finalize the quote and arrange the installation of the windshield. I called Tuesday afternoon and had the windshield replaced Thursday morning. They asked all the right questions to make sure that they had the right glass for my car - apparently, there are four different windshields for my model and year. He double checked with me about any decals that would need to be moved to my new windshield and he remounted my iPass for me. It took about 45 minutes from when I arrived to finish the process and get me on my way! This is a family run shop - not a lot of glitz . . . OK, no glitz at all - but I wasn't looking for that! All I was looking for was a well installed windshield with a minimum amount of inconvenience . . . and that is what I got!

They were able to help me very quickly after the glass came in. Their prices were very competitve. The work was quality with no problems and they were able to complete the project while I waited.

Great. Great price. I dropped off the car and strolled around the Libertyville Village while they worked. When I returned an hour or so later the job was completed and the car ready to go. We have issues with the electrical, battery system with the car, and as is sometimes the case, when I tried to start it I found the battery was dead. The owner of the shop left his hot pizza to help me with jumper cables, and finally got the car to start. I would say they went above and beyond to help me!

Overall, excellent service and quality of work. The company provided an immediate quote over the telephone to replace a broken windshield. I made an appointment for a Saturday morning and was told the service would take less than an hour. On the day of the appointment, they took my car right away and were finished in about 45 minutes. The windshield was perfectly matched to the original factory glass and was neatly installed. Excellent service and excellent price. Definitely recommended!

I called late morning to get a price. They gave me a price and said they could have the windshield there by 3 and I should come by then. They changed it in less than an hour and did a good job. I by chance had my Acura serviced at the dealership the next day and they told me the guys had done a very good job. Service was friendly. I would use them again.

Got a quick appointment. Dropped the car off. It was done in less than an hour. We could have waited as it was being done. Excellent job.
