Wentworth Construction - Mike Crispo and his crew were outstanding in every way in building my 800 sq ft home addition. Very trustworthy - met every commitment. Outstanding planning and communications. Met schedule. And the best quality I have seen in 50 years working with contractors. Very reasonably priced . On time, On budget and On the mark! Mike and his crew did an awesome job! Attention to detail and creativity is exceptional. We added 120 square feet to our 1,500 square foot brick ranch. The remodel was done in time, and it is BEAUTIFUL. While they were in the house, the guys noticed a few things that needed to be fixed and were happy to help us. Great company to work with and will recommend them to others as well as use them for future projects.

It went very well. We spent more than we wanted to but Mike (owner) was very open along the way and no real surprises. Lots of honesty and integrity.

Our first project with Wentworth Construction was a complete overhaul of our laundry room. Mike Crispo of Wentworth Construction came in and gutted the room from floor to ceiling. He installed new tile flooring, re-wired electrical, had custom cabinetry made and installed. He put in granite countertops with custom glass tiled backsplash. He was an innovator in design and technique from the floor up. He has an eye for style and a superior construction background. I now have a top-of-the line custom laundry room.
Our second project with Wentworth Construction was a quick overhaul of our powder room. He replaced a pedestal sink with a new copper sink, new cabinetry, and plumbing.
Our third project with Wentworth Construction involved tearing up the carpeting off of two staircases and an upstairs hallway. Mike Crispo came in and re-built our stair cases (stairs, trim work, flooring etc.) He put in hardwood floors, sanded, and had custom colored stain mixed to specifically match our existing flooring. He added detailed work to the stairs for a flawless design.
I would use Wentworth Construction and Mike Crispo for all my general contracting needs. Mike is and extremely trustworthy family man who I felt 100% confident leaving him in my home alone. He had a key to my house and let himself and in and out as needed. I did not have to be in the house during construction!!! He is very honest, reliable, and hardworking man with three young children.

Overall it went great. The project is 95% complete and we were able to move in on our deadline. I'm not sure how much we saved ourselves with doing some of the project management ourselves. I think we added stress for ourselves and it wasn't always clear what we were handling, what Mike was handling. There were miscommunications on both his and our part. The overall cost was of project was higher than we had planned for. We opted to figure out and price some things as we went along, as opposed to a fixed bid up front. So, we saved on a higher fixed bid and markups, but also bore the risk of the unexpected things that popped up. Mike worked his b*** off, often 6 days week to meet our deadline and get us into the house (we were living in a rental while the remodel happened). Mike is truly a jack of all trades. I was impressed with the quality of his custom carpentry, his attention to detail and quality. At times it seemed getting it exactly right could have better balanced with getting it done faster/cheaper. Mike seems very honest with a lot of integrity. He is very willing to talk through details and explain things without being condescending. I would definitely hire Wentworth Construction again.
