Sun or Construction sold us an Alside bow window. A discoloring in the Initially everything went well. After year 1 we noticed a discoloring in the sill. Notified both Suncor and Associated Materials, the Alside corporate. After 3 years the sill is black in areas and pitted. Nobody will repair or warrantee the window. The problem is the window base is not insulated and it sits on a concrete base. In extreme cold below 15 degrees the window sill develops moisture and ice forms. This is a window fab and install problem. If you sell windows in the Midwest they should should be rated for the area and insulated as needed. The window will need to be replaced, but I won’t consider Suncor as a contractor

They did a great job, they sent us a picture, they were prompt, we did not go through insurance but they were as reasonably price as they could be for us, they very responsive, anything that needed to be fixed they did it the right way and took the work for us, they were very nice to work with

They did a great job. Showed up when they said they would, very personable, professional employees, cleaned up after themselves, took care around our 3 cats.

very smooth installation

The contract to me did not seem complete compared to the other two companies we got estimates from. They did everything they said verbally, but I just did not like that everything was not in writing. They were on time and gave us the estimate immediately and on the same day. My other complaint was that they did clean up like they said they would do, but I did pick up more than 300 nails in the yard. They trampled a couple of bushes and plants, probably at least four. There was just a lot of scrap in the yard, mostly in the bushes and that we cannot see. I have been walking around everyday and yesterday I probably picked up another 20 nails.

Very well; they also worked with me to provide an alternative financing arrangement that allowed me to hire them six months earlier than when I had originally planned to do this work. In this economy, flexibility is key to successful business. I thank them for being flexible.
