It has been great. They were professional.

I have been using Mosquito Squad every year for over 5 years and have nothing but good things to say about the company, their staff and the effectiveness of their products. If I could give them higher than an "A" rating, I would. I don't understand why this company has such a low overall rating -- yet they have a high number of A ratings and only 5 low ratings. There must be some kind of mistake in Angie's system and I intend to try to get this fixed. I've found the Mosquito Squad team to be terrific. If I've had to call customer service to reschedule they could not have been nicer or more helpful. The guys who come to my house to do the spraying are professional, polite, friendly, and do their work efficiently. They take care to close my gates and cause no problems whatsoever on my property. I have a 2 acre property with 12 gates and a lot of dogs (who are kept indoors while they're spraying). The product they use is very effective. My property is very shady and damp with lots of trees, grass, bushes and plantings. Before I started using Mosquito Squad I could not even enjoy being outside in the summer without spraying myself heavily with bug repellent because the mosquitos and ticks were so bad. Since I've been using Mosquito Squad the dogs and I have been able to be outside in the grass at anytime night or day without being bitten to pieces. Their products work. I sign up for an annual service term and have my yard sprayed regularly from spring to fall -- every year. It's worth every penny.

They do not honor the 100% guarantee. It rained 2 hours after they came out to spray. Two weeks later and we have mosquitoes. They will not respray because we are at the end of contract. Will not have them back next year. Also, we had issues when we originally signed up. Owner told me I didn't sign up even though I thought I did. I had a confirmation email and charge on my credit card. He never called back as promised. I finally received an email with a schedule day. Very rude.

We signed up for a three-treatment program. The first two went well. The technician (Miquel) that came out provided an estimated ETA, which was very accurate both times. He was very courteous and thorough. The third treatment attempt was one of our worse experiences with service personnel we have ever had in 30 years of home ownership. The technician, which was a different one from the first two applications, called to tell me that he would be at our house in 40 minutes. We have a dog and horses so this gave us plenty of time to get everyone in their places for the spray. Eighty minutes later the individual still had not arrived, so I called him (I needed to leave for work). He said he was just getting to my house, although I was concerned because he seemed a bit surly. Nevertheless, when I looked outside, even ten minutes later, there was no one there. Finally, 15 minutes later I look out to see him spraying our neighbor’s property. I didn’t want to go out to get sprayed on, so I called the company to have them stop him, but there was no urgency on their part. For some reason it was import to the person that answered the phone to know the spelling of my first name. The guy was spraying very near where we secluded our horses so my wife went out to get him to stop. Later someone from the company called to tell me that they were unhappy that I had used foul language, which I absolutely did since I was livid and the people on the phone didn’t seem overly concerned (perhaps this happens a lot). They gave several excuses: the technician’s GPS lost service (our properties are clearly marked with our house numbers and we have fine GPS reception); the technicians phone had no service (although I had spoken to him when he arrived at our neighbor’s property), and no one answered the door (of course not – he was at the wrong house!). Nevertheless, he knew I was at home since I had just told him that I was waiting for him – this should have alerted him that there was a problem. The technician was supposed to have specific instructions with regard to spraying around our pool and under our deck – our neighbors have neither a pool nor a deck, which should have really alerted him. The most egregious comment from the technician was that I used a racial slur, which is an absolute lie – I have never used one in my life, and he was so far away that I don’t know his race anyway). I did yell at him to get off of my neighbor’s property – perhaps I offended him. The person that called me back made every excuse possible for the technician and would not listen to a reasonable description of what had happened, such that I am not confident that this incident will be used as a learning experience. He did, however, offer to reimburse me for the missed treatment – as if not paying for something that we did not get should make me happy. I demanded reimbursement for all three treatments, because they wasted my morning. He agreed, but we shall see if he lives up to his word. Obviously, we will not use this company again.

Excellent service, very responsive, if you are not happy called them back and they will respray no questions asked. Their chemical works great we finally get to enjoy or backyard and swimming pool area. The fee is seasonal $400 for 1 acre of land, three sprays (one every 20 days). I do wish they would cost a little less. I will reevaluate this next season.

This is follow up to the D rating we gave earlier.  They did do an additional refund which was fair after they couldn't keep the mosquito population down in our area.  If you are having issues after the treatments be sure you notify them immediately and get resprayed and if still having issues have them cancel the service.  We are by a forest preserve and the service could not keep the mosquitos away.

This is the first time we have used Mosquito Squad.  My husband saw their truck in the neighborhood and I was interested because they say their treatments last 21 days, which is much longer than most other mosquito control companies.  We purchase 5 sprays over the course of the summer and have had a mosquito free yard all summer - it has been amazing.  Especially with all the rain we had this spring, the results were amazing.  We were able to enjoy our yard much more this summer and I did not receive a single bite in our yard.  No adverse affects to our dogs.  One time they sprayed close to a rain and it wasn't as effective, we were outside with friends and mosquitos were around us.  They came back out within 5 business days to perform a respray(at no cost to us) and that took care of any problems we had.  I don't know how we would live without this next summer!

I purchased a Big Deal for the job. It turned out okay. I seemed to me like I could have probably done something similar with an outdoor fogger and a pesticide.

It was fine and they were good. The scheduling was fine. They got the job done in about half an hour for each time that they came.

Their services were very effective. No one in our family got even one mosquito bite the whole summer.

It did not go well.  I am on 2 acres and they said it is a perfect property for their product.  The spring spray seemed to work.  The second spray did not so we requested a re-treatment.  This is where the problems began.

The techs' were fine.  The administrative staff is the worst.  I would make call after call and get no return call.  I finally spoke with the owner and thought all was ok.  The next treatment did not work so I called again for a re-treated.  After a week I called the owner as my call had not been returned nor a re-treated scheduled.  Even the owner would promise to call me back in 5 minutes and I would give him the day and still have to call him back. This occurred time and time again. On it went until I finally cancelled the service.  It was so frustrating I would rather deal with the mosquitos then these people again.

Since posting the above review the company contacted me.  They want to make things right so I will work with them the season of 2015.  Both of us hope for better results as they offered some alternitive ideas that may work for my yard.  I was also advised they have added to office staff so calls should no longer go unreturned. I will post the results once known.

It worked really well! They do a every 3 month service for us. The cost is $450-650 per summer depending on the product.

Very satisfied with Mosquito Squad and highly recommend. Their service is great, dependable, and they are friendly and easy to work with.  
We live on a wooded 2 acre lot, surrounded by 10+ acres of woods, and had a very bad mosquito problem in the summertime. You could not be outside without being bitten by mosquitos after dusk.  We have now been using Mosquito Squad for 2 years in a row and we no longer have any mosquito issues on our property. They come out several times throughout the Spring and Summer and will come back and do repeat applications, if needed.  We have two young kids, so they are now happy that they can play outside without getting eaten alive by mosquitos.
I also recommend that your start your mosquito applications EARLY in the Spring, when Mosquito Squad recommends for your area.  Attacking the mosquitos before they start breeding is the key to keeping the mosquito population down.  Starting the applications after mosquitos are already out and biting you will take a longer time to her under control over the summer. 

They were okay. There is nothing exceptionally good or bad about them. They helped with the mosquitoes.
