I have never in my life been so utterly disgusted by someone I've hired to perform work in my home. To say that Jim, the owner, is unprofessional would be a total understatement. After Jim's crew failed to complete the few basic jobs we had for them (replace a bathroom sink faucet, fix a few stoppers, caulk around the bathtub and sink, etc.) and even DAMAGED my pedestal sink by leaving dark, rust-colored scratches all over the white porcelain) over the course of two long, drawn-out visits (which included several smoke breaks), my husband called Jim to express our dissatisfaction and ask that he refund a portion of the charges to account for the shoddy work. Jim was very short with him, mentioning that he didn't feel well, and he seemed irritated to be bothered. He basically blew him off and said that he'd look at the invoice but that it seemed right to him. When we didn't hear back from Jim, I called again. From the moment Jim answered, he was rude, dismissive and uncooperative. He spoke over me and raised his voice at several points during our conversation. Just a few minutes into the call I had to turn the phone over to my husband because I was so angry and offended that I was shaking. Eventually, after we threatened to post negative reviews, Jim agreed to come over to assess the damages and make the repairs himself the following week. As promised, we texted him pictures of the scratches and the sloppy, goopy caulk dripping off of the sinks and onto our hardwood floors. Then we waited. A week went by....so we called and left voicemails a few times...waited another few weeks...left a few more voicemails, until eventually, Jim answered our call. He accused me of posting negative reviews about Lemont Plumbing online (at which point I hadn't) and demanded that I take them down. When my husband informed him of his intent to call the Better Business Bureau, he hung up on him. Needless to say, I wouldn't feel safe allowing him or his crew into our home again, so we will be reaching out to the BBB!

Don't ever use Lemont Plumbing! This guy is a CROOK, a LIAR, UNRELIABLE and his guys did the work WRONG! His guys worked 2 full days at my house and told me they needed to come back in a couple of days to finish the job. Jim said he would come back and check on the guys to make sure everything was ok. He never came back. When we were negotiating the price before the work started Jim got really angry. He very sternly said, I'm doing all this work first and I'm trusting you to pay me! I said, "Of course I'll pay you!" Well, stupid me paid him in full even though he didn't finish the job. I was TRUSTING him to come back and finish! My husband called him FOUR times without an answer from him. On the FIFTH call Jim finally answered. My husband told him all the things that Jim's guys did WRONG and they broke our house water filter and didn't say anything to us. Jim said he couldn't be out there for 3 or 4 days which would be Monday. Well, on SATURDAY two of his guys show up unannounced. My husband took them into the basement to show them what to do. The first thing the plumber did was turn the water off without asking. I was literally in the middle of a shower! I had to get out of the shower and call downstairs to my husband to turn the water back on, which he did. My husband went upstairs to make sure the shower was working. THREE minutes later my husband goes downstairs, and the plumbers or gone! GONE! Without a word. ***! Once again, it took several phone calls for Jim to answer his phone. Jim said the plumbers went upstairs and no one was around so they left! Once again, ***! He promised to come out Monday during the day. Didn't show. Promised to come out Tuesday night, didn't show. Promised to come out Wednesday morning. My husband took the day off, I cancelled my doctor's appointment. But once again, Jim didn't show. So it's been 2 weeks and I don't have my washing machine hooked up! We are contacting our lawyer. I paid Jim to do a job and do it right. He did not. That is STEALING!!!

they came over the course of two days, first day to work on the water pipes. and the second day to work on the gas lines, what was really nice is they went the extra mile to hook up my new clothes dryer that was delivered while they were working. I plan on hiring them again for other projects in the future. Also they were very friendly and knew what they were doing.

Lemont Plumbing took my call before 7am on a weekday.
There were in my home a short time later.
The plumbing was repaired to my expectations, and the cost was reasonable.
