Description of Work: Foxley Cleaners supply my dry cleaning needs.

Description of Work: I have been using this dry cleaner for nearly 9 years to clean my work shirts. I wear one every day and I had Foxley Cleaners clean them all. Over the years after retrieving my shirts from Foxley Cleaners, they did a serviceable job for the most part, but some shirts have come back with some noticeable deficiencies. I am not really picky and the shirts have been worn a few times so I have never have said anything. This last visit (and I do stress LAST), I had brought in brand new shirt to have it be cleaned by them. I had tried it on for sizing and then put it right into the dry cleaning bag to take to Foxley. This very shirt comes back from Foxley Cleaners with a bleach spot right on the front of it rendering it unwearable. Never having even worn this shirt, I went to the cleaners to hopefully recoup at least something for this damage. They stated they did not do the damage and eluded that another cleaner must have done this. Knowing that I have not used another cleaner especially for this brand new shirt, I am positive they were responsible. Bottom line, after eight years of never complaining (when I had many opportunities to) and coming to them with a valid gripe, they would not do anything for me. Just to resolve the issue, I would have taken even a small credit toward future service, but they ruined my shirt and gave me nothing for it. I understand that mistakes happen by everyone, but honorable businesses acknowledge their mistakes and remedy the situation. So their handling of this situation speaks volumes about their lack of business ethics. Foxley Cleaners will throw away a loyal eight year customer since they do not want to acknowledge their mistakes and stand behind their workmanship. So I would strongly recommend not using this cleaner if you would expect them to rectify a mistake that, I guarantee, they eventually would make.
