Plaster Repair
I really liked the company. Roger Dykstra came promptly and figured out what needed to be done. He was able to adapt to my desire to repair, not replace, the plaster, where possible. His estimate was prompt and much less than another company's. The work also was scheduled and done properly. He sent 4 foot-ball player types who did the work in one day, willingly staying until 7 to finish. The old room looks wonderful, and the c. $2,300 price was very reasonable, compared to one estimate of $12,000! The only small flaw was that the medallion base was not quite level in the end, probably because there had been quite a lot of failed plaster under it causing unevenness at its base. But no one would notice this.
