The technician, Ethan, I think, was top notch. My husband was very impressed, and he is a perfectionist. The work was professional and efficient. I've been in and out of hospital after surgery; so sorry to provide this late. We could not be happier with work performed or the the technician that was sent.

They came out the next day. I didn't have to pay any more. Sometimes my garage door is not opening, but I don't know if it's my remote or something they did. Just one person came out to do the service. He left the area clean.

The package was for a garage door tuneup, and that went fine. However, the problem with the door was broken springs, which were replaced at a total cost of $430, which is much higher than the $200-$225 cost for spring replacement recommended by Angie's List.

Workers called to come early which was acceptable to me - excellent punctuality. Quickly they evaluated the door mechanisms and were very professional. Well other problems where found and they were explained and I agreed with their evaluation and diagnosis. The complete garage door mechanisms needed to be replaced including: spring, cables (frayed), end plates and cable drums, as well as rollers and door balance tune up per special Angies deal. Cost was $499 + $99 for Angies deal (So the cost for this size job is ~$600) - more than wanted to pay but due to a weak moment I did. While I would recommend Precision due to their professionalism. I should note, on my yes for hiring again, I may look further due to their high cost - per my budget concerns.

It turned out fine. I was disappointed that it was only the wheel bearings I thought maybe it would be a little bit more advertised but in all it was okay. I read through other offers that Angie's List provided, I cold have gotten the same deal at a lower cost and I'm kind of confused as when I purchased this up from Angie's List, and I entered the zip code, and I find the location that's able to perform the work, then I will get a response from them saying that you're too far out of the zip code area and I entered in my zip code. Angie's List offered the same type of service for a much lower cost, but based on the description that I read for the provider who was charging $89 I saw that I did not get of the things that were advertised and those that were charging $69 were pretty much the same thing that I could have receive from the offer for $89 so I thought that I paid a little bit more than what I had to. They were wheel bearings I mean the quality is fine, the quality would have apply to any service provider that were adding wheels, not wheels but rollers to a garage door. They were on time. The experience was fine. I just need to be diligent of what I'm reading and what's being said. I need to ask specific questions because the description for the rollers was very detailed and I thought that I would be getting more because they were charging $89. So, I thought that I would be getting more of the service that was provided. It turns out when I did further investigation of other offers on Angie's List, I could have gotten the same deal for $69 versus $89 and in addition to that, the zip code doesn't always guarantee that they will perform work in your area which is another concern. Because if I'm looking to have work done instead of entering a zip code, then I would expect that provider as I enter in the zip code would be able to perform the work, but that's not necessarily the case.  I like the service, there was no dislike except for what I described about the description. A company can charge whatever they like but I'd like to make sure that I'm getting the best offer that I possibly can.

It worked out great. The work they did is such a big improvement because the garage door is quiet, it moves at a steady pace and it's not rickety like it used to be. It's just amazing. The difference is like night and day. Initially they came out to replace the rollers, it was really a mess and then we found out that the motor was failing, because it was leaving a mark. So I decided to replace it before it goes.

When the technician arrived he diagnosed the problem as an issue with the spring that was broken. Since the cost to replace the spring was 450 or so he suggested replacing the door, which we had in mind for later, but decided to go ahead with the suggestion. We didn't use the garage door after that, as he suggested, until the work was scheduled. All through right up to when he arrived, the door opener worked fine. After he installed the new door, the door opener refused to respond. At this point instead of diagnosing the actual problem, he says that the door opener was busted and that it would cost another few hundred dollars to replace. I called him out for providing incorrect diagnosis after which he lost his cool and started quoting all the waivers we signed for which he wouldn't be held financially responsible for addressing the issue; all in a raised, agitated tone. After he called the office (I'm assuming he talked to his i/c) he suggested the door opener may be overheated, to wait for it to cool off and try again and that worked. Ultimately the new door worked with the older door opener. I've rated them low because of the service guy who was unprofessional in his tone when things didn't seem to work, as well as for incorrectly diagnosing the issue with the door.

The service went well and I'm satisfied with the results. My door operates much quieter and smooth. I feel very comfortable with the operation of the door now. I have a heavy wood door.

The technician came out and indicated that the service couldn't be performed and the door should be replaced.  He gave a price on replacement and when I indicated that the price was over my budget, he advised where I could possibly go for a lower price/lower quality option.  Seemed honest and I would use them in the future for service but likely not for a replacement door.

Unlike other big deals, where the provider has contacted me after I bought the deal, I had to contact this provider. But when I did, they were able to schedule someone to come out the same day. I was very pleased that they were able to come out so quickly. The technician was very prompt and professional. He explained everything and made some suggestions for down the line fixes. I would rate the service highly overall and would recommend this provider.

I am in the process of getting estimates on a garage door before I decided who will replace my door.
