Alex and his team have completed several projects for us in both Hawthorn Woods and Evanston, delivering excellent, meticulous craftsmanship in everything they do. In Evanston, they handled a complete remodel of our 2000 sf vintage apartment, from floor to ceiling, including two bathrooms and a kitchen, leveling and replacing the wood floors, matching the woodwork and moldings to the original. His latest project for us is an entryway closet, which he customized to look "built in" matching the trim and moldings to the rest of the building. This was actually a gut and total remodel of a walk-in shower. So dry wall, electric, plumbing and water-proofing were all done. The contractor is honest, timely, reasonable, and scrupulously clean. Iâ ve also used the company for small handy man services. 5 big stars.

Their work is amazing. Great attention to detail. Very nicely planned, and high quality work. My only issue was reluctance to wear masks (often below the nose or not at all) in our home. Otherwise I would give them 5+ stars. Andre and Alex are very talented tradesmen. Our house was left clean at the end of every work day. We love the results.

Alex did a great job! He went above and beyond! Our project was in our utility room. We had a countertop above our front loading washer/dryer and needed a new washer:dryer set but new washer/dryers are now 3 higher. The countertop needed to be removed or lifted. He suggested we cut the countertop and move the upper cabinetry to fit under the countertop and stack the washer/dryer. Which we did. It looks beautiful. He was prompt and the work was done timely and the job site was left clean and neat. Would highly recommend United Remodeling!
