About us
Turf Industries Inc. specializes in installing residential and small commercial sprinkler systems. We are licensed by the State of Illinois as an Irrigation contractor. We give free estimates for sprinkler installations and also repair existing sprinkler systems. We provide RPZ testing by our licensed plumber as required by the State of Illinois. Mention Angie's list and we will give an additional $100.00 of a sprinkler installation. We are family owned and operated and have been in business since 1984.

They installed it late fall last year and turned it off. Over the winter it was unused and then they came and turned on the water again and everything is operating now. They didn't charge to come out and turn it back on last month.

"We are sorry that you were not happy with our service. When we open a sprinkler system there are times that all the work can not be done in the 1st visit. Our trucks are fully stocked with all the most sprinkler parts, but in the case of your system, we did not do the original installation and the valves were unusual and had to be ordered. When we made the 2nd service call, I sent the service manager out to do your service and did not charge you for all the time he spent servicing you system. We had your system up and running by May 15, 2013 and I did not hear from you after that date with any concerns about adjusting or coverage. I understand you were not happy with our process of estimating future work, but I honestly thought that you were happy with our service up until that point. It is disappointing to us that you did not feel we took that extra step to provide you the kind of service that has you referring us to your friends and neighbors."

They warned me that my yard would be torn up during the installation and
they were accurate. However the extensive trenching required was
completely restored and it was difficult to detect where they had
worked. It was amazing to see the crew complete so much work so efficiently.
The system included new plumbing inside the house to provide proper water pressure and flow to the outdoor system. That part of the job required significant ingenuity to work around the interference of various other home systems. It was a pleasure to watch the smooth completion of that phase of the work.
The crew leader carefully explained and demonstrated the proper operation of all parts of the system and left me with detailed written instructions to improve my understanding.
The cost included two years of shutdown and startup service.
This Fall's shutdown was completed in a professional and courteous
manner.

Had you contacted our company to do the initial install we would have been able to better estimate a new system, rather than try to give you an exact quote to fix another company's mistakes. "I do not have a record of winterizing your system in 2011. I show Turf Industries opened it that year, but did not close the system. I checked our deposits for fall of 2011 and I did not show a check from you for that service. I was surprised to hear our office was not friendly with you, as I get so many compliments about our office staff, as such I am speculating that you may have us confused with another company. Regardless I am sorry that your perception of our office staff is not positive."
