Work was done in a professional manner. My only negative comment would be that a couple of boards which did not blend well were used even though there were plenty of extra boards. When I brought this to the attention of the salesman I used, he idicated that they would be replaced, but that has not happened.

The initial install of hardwood was so poor that per their very own inspector had to be completely removed and replaced at their own expense. However the expense to remove the cupboards and replaced damaged product from the tear out was not covered.

They did an awesome job.

HORRIBLE! The salesman Richard Cohen came out to measure and prepare the quote. The house was completely empty as the rental tenant had just moved out. There were 3 sets of stairs and a loft landing (narrow strip) that the carpet needed to be replaced. The rest of the house is all wood flooring.

I walked the job and then he got out his tablet computer to do the estimate while I waited in the kitchen. His first price was $1,381 which I told him I thought was high based off what I was quoted at Home Depot and Lowes. He said well we have a discontinued pattern from Shaw carpet that is basicially the same but I do the job for less. We settled at $841. I paid cash and 3 days later they came to install. I signed and read the estimate. The estimate clearly said "Stairs" and "Landing" - again there are 3 sets of stairs and a narrow landing.

The day of install I meet the installers and show them the scope of work. I leave for my office while my maid watches the house. I get home and the maid signed for the install and the carpet looks good. Ooops, wait, I get to the 2nd floor and they did NOT replace the landing or that set of stairs. I asked her what happened and my maid informed me they did not have enough carpet. Okay, I figured Richard Cohen my sales person would handle it. I call and leave him a message and send a email. Sunday comes around and he shows up at my house while I'm out jogging and once again my maid is there. He informs my maid and does NOT call me to say he is there that we did NOT order carpet for the landing or that set of stairs just the other 2 sets of stairs were in the quote!! Keep in mind there quote simply said "Stairs" and "Landing". Monday comes around after Richard Cohen would NOT answer any of my emails. He calls and says for $444 MORE we can finish the job. I was shocked and I'm not once to be hijacked by a scam artist. I went thru the estimate with him and asked Richard, if you ONLY quoted the 2 sets of stairs to be completed then why did you have "Landing" in your quote??? He stood his ground and demanded more money. I refused to give in to "hustler" I made the mistake of paying cash (I did get a receipt) and once they had my cash they knew they could screw me over. So I went on to call his office and nobody at Luna had the courtesy to call me back or take my calls. He never replied to 1 email after he did the quote originally. I can NOT believe a company would cause a consumer like me who in 15 minutes made a decision and paid cash and had a quick sale where they made $841 on discontinued carpet for 2 small narrow sets of stairs would BE STUPID enough to not spend $100 more to finish the job. The quote and receipt explained what I should have received and LUNA FLLOORING ripped me off!

Everything worked out really well.  I am very pleased. 

They did a nice job, but I was surprised to learn that despite the salesman telling me that he was going to upgrade the padding for me to a great, ''cushy, high-end'' type, he didn't. Instead, the installers informed me that the padding they removed with the old carpeting was better quality than what I received. I was a bit disappointed by that news. I'd ask to see it first next time!

Curtis was very helpful and patient with us while we chose options & colors. They are very knowledgeable about various laminate flooring options, brands, etc. They were very good about following up and allowing us to take samples home. The only negative was that we did not receive a follow-up call after installation. Bob was also helpful. The installation crew was good, friendly, and cleaned up after the job. The floors look great. We used Abbey for a previous carpet job and will likely use them again in the future.

I WAS HAVING THE CARPET REPLACED IN TWO ROOMS, A HALLWAY, AND THE STAIRS. I DECIDED TO USE ABBEY BECAUSE THEIR SALES REPRESENTATIVE AND STORE MANAGER, CURTIS, EMPHASIZED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE RELATIONS AND THEIR COMMITMENT TO GETTING THE JOB DONE RIGHT. THIS COULD NOT HAVE BEEN FARTHER FROM THE TRUTH. THE ORIGINAL INSTALL WENT OKAY. BUT THEN HAD TO DEAL WITH BACKORDERS, WRONG CARPETING ORDERED, INSTALLERS NOT SHOWING UP AND CURTIS BEING TOO BUSY WITH NEW CUSTOMERS AND MEETINGS TO RESOLVE THESE ISSUES AND MORE. WHEN CURTIS DID HAVE TIME FOR AN APPOINTMENT HE WOULD MISS THEM. THIS HAPPENED FOUR TIMES. IT TOOK 3 MONTHS FOR THE JOB TO BE 95% COMPLETE. I HAVE FINALLY GIVEN UP ON GETTING THE WRAP ITEMS TAKEN CARE OF BY ABBEY CARPET.
