Terrible. "Under new management". Under old management I have over the years purchased a number of corsages here, and was always very happy with the service. When my daughter and I went in to order a boutonniere at 4:30 one afternoon, the clerk was distracted and not too interested in helping us. She said the shop was closing at 5 and she had an arrangement she wanted to finish. She went to the back and left us to decide what type of flower we wanted to use in the boutonniere. We decided on orchid. After writing up the order, the clerk wouldn't allow me to pay in advance, and didn't know how much the boutonniere would cost, giving the excuse "we're under new management". Under previous management payment in advance was encouraged, I assume when you've dealing with hundreds of flowers for a school dance you want things to be as efficient as possible on the day of pick-up. I had brought with me ribbon to match my daughter's dress, to be used on the boutonniere. I asked the clerk to attach the ribbon to the order so it wouldn't get lost, and she seemed flustered and irritated by this. Under old management I always brought my own ribbon, and it never caused a problem. My daughter said her date told her when he went into the shop to order her corsage, this clerk said derogatory things about me to him. When I went to pick up the boutonniere on the day of the dance there was a line at the register, because no one had been allowed to pay in advance. When I finally got to the counter they couldn't locate the boutonniere, and after an amount of searching realized it had never been made. The owner's daughter was working the register and I told her how badly everything had been handled. The clerk who had originally written up the order came up to the front as she was leaving to go order lunch for the shop, and said the flower would last longer this way because the boutonniere had just been made. I told her that wasn't a concern because orchids last longer than roses anyway. She then on her way out the door said to me in a sarcastic tone "have a nice day". Also the boutonniere having been put together in about 20 seconds, was not very nicely done and my daughter was quite disappointed with it. So, bad customer service, rude clerk who trashed me to my daughter's date, boutonniere not ready when promised, and poorly made. I won't go back there again.
