Mr. Kowalewski takes great pains to make sure his final product is what you want. He brings out board after board of test designs for his faux treatments until it is exactly what you have in mind, and will repaint if the color is not what you expected once done (and does it cheerfully -- try that when your spouse is doing the job instead!!). When we have hired him for large interior jobs, we've had him come when we were out of town and have never ever had a problem. Mr. K. makes sure his men are organized (e.g., the drop cloths are folded, brushes cleaned, cans resealed and left in the garage at the end of each work day as if there were to be a military inspection by Gen. Patton). In the 13 years we've used him and his men we have never had a problem. His work is top-notch, he's a professional to deal with, and we feel safe when he and/or his worker(s) are in our home, so we continue to call him, despite his prices being on the high side. We've tried others less expensive for small jobs, but always have come back to Kowalewski & Olson.
