Use Again: NO NO NO Absolutely NOT Issue: Took 6 days for a 4 ½ day job. In six days no one ever showed up when they said they would. Said would come at 7am but got here 7:30am or later. This was day after day. My wife & I got up early to be ready by 7am and no one shows. With a four man crew not one person ever got here when they said they would. Most of the time there was only 1 or 2 men here - - not 4. Lots of excuses – kids sick, babysitter did not show up, sick, or just did not come to this job - - went to another job. Two days went by and no one came - - said sick. Did not work the weekend either - - told us had a family reunion. Our house was torn up for 10 days. Every room had furniture stacked in the middle. Only the kitchen and master bedroom were usable during this time. Observation: Jim Wiltse (JTP Painter) owns the business and it appears he subcontracts the job to a supervisor. The supervisor hires his own men. I say this because a painter told me they do not work for Jim but for Tyler, the supervisor. Tyler pays the men. I spoke with Jim everyday about the issues - - he knew there was a problem but never once came by the job to see how bad it was. Quality: Once complete I would give it a c- at best. My Mistake: I know Jim from an organization I belong to and he is a nice guy. Got three quotes – Jim was the middle cost so I hired him - - without looking at Angies List or doing any online review. MY MISTAKE and I paid the price.

First of all some of the paint that was purchase wasn't the correct colors.  Jim had two guys doing the painting.  On day three the younger guy had an appointment and told me he would be at my home by 10:00 am.   He called me later on doing the day to inform me that he were having issue with his son and had to pick him up from school plus he had to pick up more paint.    He assured me that he would be at my home on the last day at 8:00 a.m.   Well, he was a no show.   No call from Jim or the painters.   Finally, two hours later I called Jim to find out what’s going on.  Jim informed me that one of his workers had issues with his son and I would have to wait till it was resolved in order to get the job completed.  I asked him if he could send someone else to finish the job and he stated NO!  At that point I requested a refund because he failed to adhere to his agreement.  I have now contacted my legal services.  I had to go out to buy paint in order to complete some of the work that wasn’t completed because I had guest arriving for the weekend.    Please Beware!
