The owner, Mike, is impressively professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and makes one feel comfortable trusting him. He is sensitive to price, and doesn't pressure you into something you can't afford. He also works a lot with architects, and has an eye for aesthetics, as well as the nitty-gritty of water, strength of design, etc. My only complaint is that the shower took almost three full weeks to be delivered and installed. That being said, the glass was returned by the company because it was delivered defective. What else could be done? We certainly wouldn't have wanted defective material. Sometimes we all have to wait longer than we had hoped for a job well done. The installation crew was friendly, precise, thorough, explained things well. The shower is absolutely beautiful and of high quality..

G& C glass did everything they said they would.  They gave us an estimate that was in line with another estimate we received.  They ordered the glass in a timely manner.  They Called to scheduled installation and were prompt.  The work quality looks good.  So far we are very satisfied.

Great. Everything turned out as expected.

The driveway looks great. However, the subcontractor (Kaplan) crushed my drainage pipe and I will have to have the driveway cut to fix the drainage.

The removal went very well. The wall repair was good but the drywall work had to be redone because it didn't blend well with existing drywall. The estimate for repairing the oak flooring seemed high so I had the work done by another contractor. I'm pleased with the overall result.

I decided to give my wall to wall oak bookcase in my living room an updated look by replacing the shelves with 1/4" glass. To be sure my measurements were correct, I took my oak shelf to the office as a prototype to be accurately measured. Shawn wrote up the estimate and followed up with an email proposal a day later. The turnaround for completion was slower than i would have liked, but I did not specify I was in a hurry. They continued to contact me when I failed to respond to their phone call that my order was finally ready. I was very impressed with Shawn's pleasant customer service. My shelves were a perfect fit and my bookcase looks more modern. I plan on having them come to my home to measure for a mirror backstop as well. I have used Gand C before for other small projects and was never disappointed.

This firm came highly recommended by the company that sold me a new front door. (They did a great job, this is not about them.) Gand C was hired to remove the old outside door trim, install the new door and design, install, and paint a new surround. The drawings they provided for the trim design before the job was started were sketchy, but we proceeded based on assurances that we could add additional trim once we got started. I told them that we wanted to include similar trim styles as what was being replaced, specifically dentil trim. I was assured we could add it if the design warranted it. Now, after they have been paid, they refuse to honor that commitment to add the final piece of trim. Kevin Calvert also refused to paint the outside trim, even though painting was included in the original estimate. He claimed he had spent too much time and material on this job already. He took a small amount off the total and told me to use the "refund" to get my own painter to do it. His "refund" will not cover the cost of painting.
Overall, this company is not honoring their stated and written commitments and did not finish the job. Do not hire Kevin Calvert of G and C Glass, Mirror and construction Inc. unless you want aggravation, incomplete work, and frustration.
